Hi!! I have very curly hair and as much as masks and conditioners does for the hair I’d advise to make a styling gel with the sea moss gel.. it will dry and keep some of the moisture and when you wet it again, provide the slip you need to de-tangle the hair, making life easier for her and for yourself. I make my own hair styling gel using agar agar, honey, aloe Vera, xantham gum and glycerine which has similar effects where it keeps my hair in place while keeping it moisturised and when I need to brush it I spritz it with some water to activate the slip from the ingredients I’ve used. I’m an adult and my hair does get tangled so I can imagine how tangled it can be for and super active busy kid.

@miztropraineraine9923 I was wondering if you could share the recipe? I’ve been looking to make my own hair gel that has hold for my type 3b/c curls. All the DIY only uses flaxseed, nothing else is added for hold and texture. Do you make your own shampoo and conditioner? I just began dipping my toes into making my own products because I’m trying to live a low toxic lifestyle. Anything will help.

Holy cow. You're spitting out videos left and right. I really really needed this one. Thank you thank you. I need something for my curls that doesn't weigh my hair down. FYI I combed out my son's locs after a year and a half. I have never cut his hair and he's 7. It's to his thighs. Lol

Wow! What an amazing transformation. As a curly/textured girl this is quite impressive. I’ve tried flax seed gel and that was nourishing and detangling and I used it as regular hair gel too. But this is great!
