I actually like her long hair since it’s healthy looking and the color is pretty too. I think if she got some buttery blond balayage done it would make it really stand out. Layering is what all stylists want to do with long straight hair. What would be pretty is keep the length and maybe have some pieces around her face a little shorter, just as a frame. In the picture she sent, it’s obvious she didn’t “fix” her hair up and try to look her best. With some hair tools, she could put some waves or soft curls, some hair products to fluff the top and add body. Long hair suits her face shape. Not all people look good in long hair, and I find that it doesn’t pull her face down. She pulls it off.the short, wavy bob and darker color made her look older. She should stick with the blond and just brighten it up.

I agree. She actually looked younger with the original cut . Just some fixing would look nice on her . I’m one of those who can pull off long hair too . I agree that the one cut made her look older . I think in real life , it might look good on her tho . But not the darker color . I like your idea about the balayage .

Love the first cut. Shortening the bottom and layers. Then definitely lean toward the red if it is feasible for her. I absolutely do not like the shoulder, wavy version. Actually think it aged her and made her nose look bigger. The longer layered version, was very soft, feminine and striking on her :)

“Veteran” to the series 😁 and my very first thought was…liking the lumberjack vibe! I love it when autumn brings a little chill to the air and my husband starts wearing his flannels, with a little scruff. As far as hair - I preferred the first longer layered look with highlights. It reminded me of Dionna’s style, which I love. I normally really like longer bobs with waves/texture but in this case I felt it was not as “youthful” looking on her and the darker tones didn’t help brighten her more sallow skin tone, which is something I have to fight myself. 🥴

I've been watching your videos for the past few months and I enjoy this series. Today, I like the shorter style with the auburn color--if she is willing to maintain it. If not, I think she can wear the warm or cool tones equally well. Your shirt is great! Where I live, guys layer it with a colored T-shirt. Unbuttoned in warmer weather, buttoned partway depending on the temp. Your facial hair is a good look for you!

Out of your suggestions, the long variation looked great on her . Personally, I like it when someone CAN wear long hair well. And, I believe her medium warm strawberry/golden blonde flatters her. In fact, her original color ( medium to dark golden blonde) ,is so lovely on her( so vibrant). So, I disagree with you on this one, and would suggest that she keep her original color. I also could see short hair on her. I'm surprised that you didn't choose a short cut for her. To compliment your model here, she has a "twinkle "smile and eyes which is very pretty.

I love both cuts, but the longer style is very pretty. I like the warm and cool tones. I’m not a fan of the auburn because like you said, it does fade quickly. You can pull off any style! Lumber Jack is ok😊

Justin you made very good points about her hair. Abit shorter not crazy. Color is her palette. The red tone made her smile pop. I sent in my pictures. I had longer hair like her. I had it cut a tad below my shoulders. It works. I can throw it in a ponytail on hot days. My hair is so thick, I know I should get layers. But it falls out of ponytail and makes me crazy. Ooh ! I’m a natural redhead. But I sometimes like to enhance my hair . It’s been years since I did because they discontinued my favorite product, Sebastian Cellophanes ( or Colourshines . Can’t be sure which it was ) . It was a transparent gloss glaze that would laminate the hair and make it gleam. They had the most gorgeous copper . I always mixed it with a touch of their brown color and made my own color . I’ll look for the product you mentioned. I’m getting some greys that could use a blending . I’ll never let anyone color my hair again. I’d rather just glaze it every few weeks myself . My hair once literally turned to jello after all the coloring and correcting after a few stylists gave me pink and white hair . And all I wanted was to get some natural highlights. They overdid it and turned my highlights white . Asked to go back to my original red hair . Even took pics of myself. They made it crayon red , burgundy, pink … etc . Haha ! Sorry for the long story. I’m just thrilled to know there are other glazes to be found now . Thank you ❤

Shelley is beautiful! It’s uncanny how similar her original haircut is to mine ( mine is a tad more layered ). I’m considering asking my stylist to layer me up more . Once I’ve washed and styled it on my own , I’ll know for sure . I swear I look younger with the new cut . And I have the dark ginger underneath my strawberry blonde. The cut brought out the natural highlights I already had from working outside all year . It’s so cool I didn’t have to pay for highlights 🤣. Love the styles you picked for her. I personally thought the layered style was too layered, but it's just a different look. If she wants to go short, I thought the wavy bob looked cute. I also liked her hair a bit darker.

I think the model looks better and younger with the original look with long hair. In the end it's about wearing the way it feels good to you personally and fits with your identity, as Justin always says in the video disclaimers. I find the layers and colour choices vary so much depending on the taste/trends in each country and its cultural norms too.
