Thanks for all your info !!! I love my silver hair.... but it’s a struggle trying to keep it white. All the oils I’ve purchased has a yellow hint to them, so by the time I use the flatirons.. I’m left with a yellow hint. I’ve watched your video and have purchased Bantu yellow out conditioner, I can’t wait to use it. My hair is very dry, do you recommend an oil that won’t leave my hair yellowish.

I have natural gray that I relaxed about a month ago. Have you ever used Hawaiian Silky? It’s gentle on my hair. I follow with Bantu, which I’ve used for years.

Hello Stella, Do not use any spray oils, they contain alcohol which dries your hair and scalp more.I haven't put oil on my hair for about 3 months now. If I had to use an oil I would use 100% pure moroccan or argan oil.Thank you so much for commenting.

What relaxer do you use?

Hey Charlene, I apologize for my late response. I prefer using box relaxers because they have everything you need in them. My first choice of relaxer is Gentle Treatment for Gray Hair it comes with the yellow out ( removes the discoloration the relaxer leaves on your gray hair) in the box. I also like the Dark and Lovely box relaxer it does not have the yellow out in the box. I purchase separately Bantu Yellow Out Conditioner to remove the discoloration ( this product I get from the Beauty Supply store). I hope I answered your question. Hello Beverly, I use the yellow out mainly for after I relax my hair. I will use it (not often) if my hair has lot of make up in it from my face (since I've been growing it out).
