Yes I’ve found it very drying over the years. Don’t even use it anymore. I’d say if you still have it and need to get the brassiness or dullness out mix it with a moisturizing conditioner. A little of both. That may do the trick when u do need to use it until you’re done.

I pre-treat with Olaplex 0 & 3. I shampoo with #4 followed by 4P (for blondes but works nicely for gray) and I'm plenty moist.

I couldn’t figure out why the purple shampoo (it was drying for me, too) didn’t work for my grey hair. My stylist educated me about the color wheel. I have more orange/brass. She told me to use a blue shampoo. I use Matrix blue shampoo and conditioner when needed. The brassiness was gone after one wash. My greys are now silver😊. Great video!

OMG, girl, I’m so glad you got it! 🥰 there are ones you can use but don’t do it any of it so often. It should NOT be a regular part of your regimen. If you are using the Maison 276 regularly it helps you keep the impurities and yellowing at a minimum.

Yes Ive used it for years but I noticed that now (after purchasing it on Amazon in the last few years) it’s selling in there for like $80+ and most of the local beauty supply stores have discontinued it

@gograybechic Oh No!!! Say it ain't so. I've used this for years on my natural hair on the ends, where the yellowish color seems to concentrate. I still have a bottle & I just sent a message to the company asking if it has been discontinued. I'll keep you updated. 😔

I have also used Jhirmack for silver/gray shampoo, but I did not like the way my hair smelled ..I'm not using it again, though I wondered if it could be my hot comb? I clean it often. Oh, I also Ultrasheen Creme Satin Press.

Hi I'm new to your channel but I really love your advice and indepth info you gave I really appreciate that but I have locs and I started greying in my twenties I'm in my forties and not fully grayed but my hair is dull and kinda yellow can you please advice me in what I can use If you have an clients with locs and how u handle them I was told to use the shimmer lights but didn't purchase it yet so thank you for educating me. I can tell you that if you use this particular 👇🏾 product (MAISON 276) over time you will remove all of the dull/yellowing tones out of your hair. @gograybechic my percentage of grey it's about 60 percent I would say and it's mostly top and middle of my hair my locs are long down my back almost to my waist.
