Hi Friends! I’m back again! I’ve gotten a bunch of requests for hair videos so for my first hair video in over a year I’m talking about hair oiling! I use hair oils weekly and they actually make a huge difference. I’ve experienced hair loss due to COVID, hormones, and stress, and hair oiling is something that has helped me with my scalp and hair health. I also notice that my hair grows so much faster when I’m consistent with hair oiling.

Growing up Italian-American, I always oiled my hair with olive and rosemary oil and used a rosemary rinse. It was such a fun moment of intimate bonding when my South Asian friends spotted my oil bottle in in the bathroom in college. We ( Pakistani/northern Indian/southern Indian/Italian) had different massage techniques and goals, but shared and taught each other. We were all alone in a foreign country, and sharing our experiences made us real friends.

Hey, isn't castor oil too thick for scalp and hair length. I never had split ends but after using castor oil I can see my breaking and causing split ends.Maybe because of the oil buildup,not sure. Have you also experienced anything similar?
@savannahmancuso2965

@@shetty4079 you have to mix castor oil with other oils, don’t use it straight! It’s too thick and can cause tangling and breakage. I roughly use 2 parts argan oil to 1 part castor, then add a few drops of rosemary.

If I did go back to using a dermaroller I would definitely use it with a growth factor or stem cell serum like the one that act and acre makes meant for hit. I may thallus purchase it if it goes on sale to try. But no I haven’t tried that. I don’t think I would just Becuase Rosemary is so potent I wouldn’t want to apply that anywhere that I’m cheating tiny wounds.. if Ido try start dermarolling again I’ll talk about it on my channel ❤️

Yes, I do oil both my scalp and my hair. However, I use a leave-in conditioner first on my hair only and then seal the leave-in conditioner with oil. I am considering skipping the leave-in conditioner altogether and simply using oils. Hmmm not sure yet, but considering 😊😊

Thank you for posting this....I am going to mimic what you do as I am new to this. I wonder if you could answer 2 questions.... How often do you hair oil? How often do you shampoo/condition. Thanks in advance!!

Hi! Just 1x a week! For both. If I work out a lot and my hair gets really sweaty one week I may wash my hair 2x but most weeks just 1. ❤️❤️

Macadamia Nut oil is also excellent for hair and known for strengthening the roots of your hair. ( Everyone’s hair is different so please do your own research before applying to your hair type).

I have blonde hair and find that I need to use clear, white oils like coconut or almond. Otherwise my hair gets a yellow tinge. Thx for sharing your experience.

Thank you for your video. I prefer to get the oils like you and make my own concotions rather than buying a marketed hair oil. I find that the bottles are small and can be costly when instead I can put buy big bottles of carrier and essential oils and they can last longer and be cheaper.

Hi Sarah... Would you please do an indepth video about how you style your hair with a straightner? I am also a southasian woman and have your hair type. I did see your hair styling video that you posted a couple of years back but the styling part was very brief in that video. Also what kind of a hair cut you get. Please and Thank you

Heya, I had thick long hair then for no reason from October 2022 till now I lost more than half my hair. I had tests done for thyroid and to check my t4 for hormone all was OK t3 was abit over wat it should be but Dr said nothing to b concerned about. I'm on alot of vitamins so can't be vitamin deficiency. Driving me mad it's so thin. I started rosemary oil a month ago twice a week after extensive research. At the top back of my head my scalp is showing 😔. How long did rosemary oil take to work for u?

It depends on texture of your hair. When you oil fine Slavic hair, it looks like you didn’t shower for a week 🤷🏻‍♀️
