Please understand that yes everyone’s hair is different, but don’t ignore this Treseme has been in a law suit lately for literally making thousands of womens hair fall out becuase of chemical burning, without giving warning or telling anyone it could happen. It’s in all of their products. I ended up having to through my half full bottle away becuase of it.

Curious Question... would scalp scrubs not damage the portion of your hair at the roots/closer to your scalp? and actually, do more damage than good? Because if it's recommended to not even dry your hair with a towel because it can cause damage, then doesn't that same principle apply even more so to the scrubs made out of materials made to scrub things off? Idk, I'm no expert but ... yeeee. Just feels like another reason to spend money for no reason and in turn spend more on other products that are aimed at 'targeting' our 'issues' with our hair. That may or may not be caused by those products in the first place. Idk, pls help hahaha.

good point. there are chemical exfoliants for the scalp skin, might be better
@xOPowerRangerOx2 жыл бұрын
Exactly. There are special cleansing shampoos out there, which are specifically created to get rid of product build up etc. They are a lot less aggressive and harmful than scalp scrubs 😊
@lalli28222 жыл бұрын
Another thing is, why isn't just rubbing with your finger and nails enough? Why is a fancy tool needed for something mechanical like scratching the scalp?
@plant91972 жыл бұрын
There are certain shampoos meant for product or dead skin buildup. I guess it is ok to exfoliate every once in a while, but if you do it every time you wash your hair, that’s a problem.

Garnier fructise has dried mine and my mom’s hair in one use of their products. I had to cut my mom’s hair because of it and now it’s growing back healthy and better. I stopped using it after I had my hair cut. My mom thought that it was just one of their product but when she used a different one for her hair of that same brand, it dried her hair out again so she stopped using it after. Garnier is bad for hair. I also used to oil my hair but noticed I was getting itchy on the scalp. Oil bottle says that I can apply it and leave it on but that always happens. Found out that you shouldn’t leave oil in hair. It’s ok to oil but to then rinse it off after 30 mins.
@azuibleu89592 жыл бұрын
this might be for you but whenever i leave oil in my hair for like 1 day and wash it the next it looks super hydrated and is softer, so what you said might only be for you :)
@Moonlight113902 жыл бұрын
@@azuibleu8959 most likely. But I wouldn't say it's only for me because there was others who had the same issue. Not everyone though. But maybe it has to do with the person's scalp and how it reacts to it most likely. That's that your taking care of your hair and it's going along nicely.

Washing twice a week is not for everyone🤷♀️ I’ve been washing my hair everday for years because I have quite thin and fine hair with a sensitive scalp so it looks greasy on the second day and I just didn’t feel good about it. I tried hair training but it just didn’t work for me- it caused so much itchiness and oiliness that just didnt go away. But now I still wash everyday, but what changed is that I use gentle sulfate free shampoo and nizoral once in a while when I feel itchiness that doesnt pass. My scalp is so much more balanced and my hair is growing thicker! I also use a scalp massager a few times a week and brush my hair with a wooden brush before every wash to exfoliate and massage to help stimulate blood flow. For some washing with sulfates and a rich lather is good but I have gotten used to minimal to no lather shampoos.

This video is very helpful my little sis has natural curls but she always thought her hair was naturally frizz and puffy. She straightened it almost every day adding heat and she found out way her hair was actually just curly but she always took care of it like I taught her how but I have straight hair. We are going to Walmart tomorrow to pick up things and try to fix it

0:20 you can make your own scalp exfoliator by mixing sea salt or regular table salt with conditioner. i prefer to use fine sea salt and deep conditioner. make immediately before using. it does not store well though. works great for dry flaky scalp that is not dandruff.

I always condition my scalp all the way to the ends. It’s skin and needs moisturizing. But people say they have oily hair. Oily skin needs moisturizing, too. Also, heat is not that bad for your hair if you use a heat protectant. This video is giving all sorts of conflicting advice

guys I understand the lady in the first vid says she is a licsenced hair stylist but that does not mean she works at a good salon (not saying she is bad because only her recommendation is bad) please don't buy hair product from target or any grocery store because that stuff isn't good and can cause scalp buildup trust me I am have been a hairstylist for 8 years now and went through 6 years at hair school at aveda and trust me any good stylist will not let you buy that stuff (the brush and blowdryer are fine) if you have any questions on hair product please ask in the comment section also NEVER USE BOX DYE!! BYYEE!!

Lmfao a ”licensed hair stylist” doesnt know much more about hair than a regular person does. I would not take their advice very seriously unless they provide scientific studies on the things they are saying. only listen to scientists and dermatologists!
