Missing my henna hair as well. Went from bleached blonde to purple, blue, green, brown, pink and now red. But with the red hair I just feel like myself again. And I dearly miss my healthy hair haha! So back to henna in a couple of weeks!

Is there any reason for the roots to look darker? Was that on purpose or is there another reason?

Hi there! Because my roots are my natural colour and are darker, the henna won't lighten them to match the previously highlighted/bleached parts of my hair. So the new growth will continue to be that darker red colour and the highlighted part will be a bit more vibrant/bright!
