That's so funny!! My grandson came home and stood in my doorway while I was busily hammering a sealed paper envelope with 20 vitamin C's in it. He thought I was crazy just hammering away on a piece of paper. I already had some mixture on my head.. He thought at first I was dying my hair again. I said NO, I am following "Internet advice" to get my gray back... haha My gray hair was awesome. I should never have went dull lifeless brown. It just that this hair dye box was in my kitchen window staring at me for the last couple weeks and I broke down and dyed my hair and regretted it instantly.

Small reminder that vitamin c WILL dry out your hair a lot, and if you leave it on for too long (a few hours or overnight) you'll most likely have a mild chemical burn on your scalp and ears, especially if you have sensitive skin. Even if you put Vaseline on your hairline first, it'll still burn your scalp, so be careful & stay safe ♥♥♥

I've been dying my hair for a really long time and have had every other color under the sun, and my favourite gradual fade is to use dandruff shampoo two weeks before you want to redye, dish soap (make sure you use a good condition bc dish soap will take out any natural moister from your hair if not treated properly afterwards), the night before use this method and usually that's all (even with blue dyes I've had no issues) but there has been one or two cases were I did a bleach bath the day before to get a white base for pastel color)

The Vitamin C treatment for my hair is GENIUS. Several weeks ago, I dyed my afro with Manic Panic Regular Shocking Blue and Amplified Atomic Turquoise. The blue was beautiful and I have a video of it on my channel, but I have spent WEEKS trying to get it out for my "Vampire Haze" color (Vampire Red & Purple Haze). This method prevented me from bleaching my kinky hair again and did it without my hair being dry since I used the SM African Black Soap Deep Cleansing Shampoo to mix with the crushed pills! I have a video of me doing the treatment for the first time, but on that I didn't leave it in for 40 minutes, so I did it wrong and might make another video the next time. But this is awesome and anyone who colors his/her hair should have a bottle of these on hand!

TheMidnightSeason you should give your hair a break for a bit. Condition it well for at least a day before treating it again. Use anti-dandruff conditioner. It will cure your hair a bit while slightly helping out fade it. Use anti-dandruff shampoo for your vit C treatment. It increases the effect.

How do you use the Lemon? You just squirt the lemon on your hair or what's the process for doing this?

FIXED GREY- PURPLE HAIR DISASTER my naturally dark blond hair has been over processed with highlights etc. PROFESSIONAL dyed my hair with low lights and high lights and TOP layer all turned GREY. toner made it more grey? They wanted to STRIP my hair to correct and i said NO WAY. Found this, tried it, did mixture on 1 hour, dried w/dryer, rinsed with straight lemon juice and prayed. Believe it or not..... it fixed it! I'm still in shock it actually worked. If you have GREY/purple hair this actually works. And it actually made it look NATURAL because it was very subtle. Amazing. This mixture also works on ... if your hair color came out DARKER than you wanted it to be ... try it!

OffbeatLook is this better for your hair than bleaching it
@OffbeatLook9 жыл бұрын
ieisha merrell Yes, this is a lot better for your hair than bleaching it and is much less damaging

So glad I found this! I only color a small section of my hair but I recently bleached it and put BTZ's Jammin' Jade on it. I was going for a deep green but it came out a dull gray-green. I'm reluctant to bleach that section again so soon so I'll try this first. Thanks!

I just did this and it worked so well I dont have a trace of blue!!! On bleached hair nonetheless. I used ALOT of crushed vitamin c though. And the 2 in 1 green apple dandruff that my husband uses. Only had to leave it in for 10 minutes. Amazing!!
