1. Wouldn’t the oil get dirty if you put the dropper directly on your scalp (dirt, dandruff, etc) instead of just dropping it onto your scalp and using the scalp massager 2. Washing your body before finishing your shampoo, conditioner, etc will make the contents you use on your hair stay on your body which is why a good step by step is to do hair first (shaving or anything else while having your conditioner in your hair), washing your body, washing your face (if you do that in the shower), then washing your private areas last.

My hair is straight/wavy and very thick (genetics for thickness). It's 42 inches long, past my ass and let me tell you one thing for everyone watching this video thinking you need to spend a ton of money on products. YOU DON'T. All my hair products are under $15. And I don't buy them every month. Probably every other month so keep that in mind. If you want long healthy hair, TRIM your ends if they are super dry. You don't need constant hair cuts every year if you just dry your hair properly and care for it properly. Caring for your hair properly does not cost more than $15. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk 💗

what are some of the products you use? And do you have any recommendation for dryer hair cause I have similar type and thick hair like yours :))
@stephaniehernandez4057
@stephaniehernandez4057 Жыл бұрын
@@daisies276 I use shampoo and conditioner separate, some people use 2in1 but I don't recommend it because it has no benefit for your hair. I use any shampoo, doesn't matter. For your conditioner use a higher quality conditioner, the bottle can say something like "professional" or "used in salons", those work best for my hair. Condition the ends of your hair, and use very little at your roots going down. The ends should have more than the top. Leave the conditioner in your hair for 2-3 minutes and rinse in slightly warm water or cold (cold is best). Before blow drying, towel drying or air drying, use a leave-in conditioner. It looks just like conditioner except it's meant to keep your hair soft and moisturized after drying. After your hair is fully dried use hair oil and brush it through your hair. If you're hair is frizzy at the top you can use any products as normal like gel or balm to smooth your hair down. If your hair starts to feel dry throughout the day, use a hair oil leave-in spray and brush. Wash your hair only 2-3 times a week. Washing it everyday makes it very oily because your scalp tries to produce more and more oil to keep your hair hydrated. If you exercise, only rinse your hair, do not shampoo, but condition your ends to keep them hydrated. Use a hair mask 1-2 times per week, and leave on for 10-20 minutes. This makes your hair super soft. Use after shampooing, or just rinsed out hair. Do no shampoo after you apply the mask, just rinse out and dry. Use satin/silk pillowcases to avoid damaging your hair. If you can't, use a silk/satin headwrap/bonnet to protect your hair during sleep. Same materials for tying your hair, if you can because it prevents breakage and tangles. Sleeping with a bonnet and blow drying my hair is AMAZING for me! I put oil before I sleep, brush through and put my bonnet on. My hair is super soft and hydrated when I wake up with no breakage. I used to air dry my hair but now I blow dry, I've also noticed a huge difference with my flyaways, poofy hair, and breakage being minimal! Message me @damnsugarr on Instagram for pics of the products I use 🥰

Rice water is great depending on YOUR hair, but it’s also has HORRIBLE side effects, only used it once or twice a month. Please be careful dear x. Also castor oil is great for your hair, mix it with a lighter oil and heat the oils up to increase the penetration in your hair to let the oils work their magic, rosemary is also a great oil for hair growth. Dont put too much oil or it can damage your hair and dont brush your hair after oiling, if your hair looks wet you’ve put too much oil!

I'm sorry sweets but this is bonkers. If you're needing to do all that then you're using the wrong shampoo and conditioner. With the right stuff you can do your shampoo and condition routine, throw on a mask once a week and use a moisturising oil for a little pick-me-up before or after heat styling. Also, don't put the mask so close to your roots, not only will it prevent the you from getting really beautiful volume but your hair will get a lot greasier a lot quicker. Obviously I've not done a proper consultation, and if you're happy then you're happy. But it seems a lot of work when you could get equal (if not better!) results using the right products.

Your scalp already produces oil, there’s no need to add it. Just brush it twice a day to distribute the natural oils.

I had wayy too long hair that i recently cut off.. my routine was slam lots of coconut oil and i would leave it in a braid for 2 days and wash the next day.. it was definitely smooth the next day but my hair and scalp is dry so i had to apply the oil after every wash and repeat this.. i did try using serums and other stuff, it never worked for me. Also never styled it except a braid as it would tangle my hair lots and made it impossible to brush.

Generally a mask should be applied after conditioner. Also mask is not applied on the roots unless it is mentioned on the product. So please do not waste your products. Best thing is to google the order in which the hair products should be applied and read or look at a professional stylist's article or video. Do not just follow blindly. We all love our hair, let's give them the best care. 😀😍

Emmm excuse me but I dont think thats correct, I always use the conditioner to set the moist from the hair mask!! So anyways thats the way that works for me. The hair mask always says “put after the shampoo…” 😉

@@thaliae.rioslaguer7742 ermmm you’re excused. Because not every mask has instructions to use in between 😂💀🤡 but go on now. We here for the attitude you clearly misplaced. 💅🏻

Masks have conditioning agents 99% of the time so you don’t have to use a conditioner at all when you use a mask. Also, conditioning agents close the cuticle so if you condition before the mask your hair cuticle will tighten up a bit meaning the mask can’t fully penetrate the hair shaft. From my experience it’s a waste of product to use both conditioner and a mask, and from like a scientific standpoint it usually is as well.

Curious has to why you do the hair mask before the conditioner and put it in the roots when it should be conditioner then hair mask on the ends because putting it on the roots weights down your hair and makes it oily unless it says to do it the other way in the direction I’ve just never seen it done like that before.
