Advice for the dry hair. Shampoo, but don’t condition in the shower. Use leave in conditioner when you get out the shower and before you get in use some oil on the ends. I struggled for so long but I guess I had dry hair due to my well water, and this was the best fix for me. :)

I have a similar story when I was about 16. I had my hair go to my waist and my dad got his girlfriend‘s friend to cut my hair and she cut it just below my shoulders and oh my god I cried. It’s totally okay to be attached to your hair. I still am.

As a kid I used to have crazy long hair too, I have super thick hair so eventually I got fed up with taking care of long hair so I got a feathered wolf cut a few years ago and I haven’t gone back since haha. Nice video!!

You've probably heard this a lot already, but I think your hair is super pretty! I've always worn my hair long too, up until I finished school when I wanted to try something "radical" and just shaved it all off, haha. That was one and a half years ago so I'm still growing it out (it's a bit longer than shoulder length now), and it has really taught me to appreciate my natural hair. I never particularly liked it before, either, and seeing it go through all the stages from "bald" over "buzz cut" to "Rapunzel at the end of the movie", it kind of ... Grew on me (no pun intended). It is insane how these things can affect our mental well-being

Thank you so much!! My hair is one of my best features I feel like, so that means a lot to me! I had a friend that did that, shaved their entire head and grew it out again. It really is impactful/empowering when you do something like that. ^^

I had the same problem with my hair growing up. And I hated my long hair. In middle school I just stopped taking care of myself. And my hair was just matted to my skull. Finally in high school I cut it really short. Like a pixie cut. Still have it super short today. No plans if growing it back out.

Awesome video 🧡 Your lip sync is very smooth and so is your animated parts. Heck ya! I used to be terrified of cutting my hair short but once I've gone short I haven't gone back. It's a lot easier to maintain and it's cute and edgy. Weirdly, I sometimes get more compliments from both men and women when my hair is short. I think it all depends on what compliments the shape of your face and how it's framed. Some people are just attracted to the certain essence short hair gives off i think. But long hair has always been the beauty standard for women I guess. You look good both ways though! That's very sweet that your bf is willing to learn how to braid for you. Hiya Gavin 👋

This is crazy I have like the same hair as you. our hair colors are very similar I have strawberry blonde as well and it goes platinum during the summer from the Sun I always get asked if it's my natural hair color and of course, it is I have too much hair to dye last time I tried to dye my hair was in middle school and I had maybe only half the hair I have now but it took three bottles because of how thick my hair is so I couldn't imagine doing it now with as much hair as I have lol I know your struggle and my parents would always refer to the knots in my hair as rat's nests when I was a kid my hair is so long and thick and untamable sometimes to the point that it's part of my personality I have friends that have written short comic books about my hair being a villain and living its own life lol right now I have my hair to my butt and I have to go get it trimmed but I'm nervous because my hair is like my baby

My hair is my baby too, it's one of my better features that i like about myself. Ive been asked if my hair was dyed before but I'm too paranoid about not liking whatever it is I've done, once upon a time ago I had to get my hair layered (and hated it and cried LOL) but I think it helped with it being so thick and annoying.

The last time I got my hair layered she messed up and like reverse-layered it for some reason and made the shorter bits up on the top and my longer bits underneath I had to get my hair last minute cut and ended up way shorter than I ever wanted it and have not cut it since then and that was like 2013 my aunt has been the only person I trust to do anything to my hair and the only thing I ever ask her to do is to trim the ends off I remember in 2012 I really wanted bright red hair and I let my friends do it I came out with hot pink hair and with how frizzy my hair was at the time I looked like a big ball of cotton candy 🤣 never again it took so long to get my hair back to normal

It's so therapeutic to let all that go after something traumatic! Im my case, I keep it long to remember those good and hard times as lessons to be learned! Memories make us who we are today. What happened is a huge part of what makes us who we are, but mainly its what we do about those hard times and how we react that really shape our personalities. If we dont rise up, be brave when its scary and stand up for ourselves, those rats will just keep getting tangled and youll have to ask for help to overcome them. WHICH IS NOT BAD ALWAYS ASK FOR HELP WHEN YOU NEED, but if you let yourself become destroyed because of others, you'll turn into a punching bag when in reality you're a strong oak tree. Your trunk will show and grow around the scars, but they'll always be painful reminders of what you couldnt do. But if you change your mindset to seeing them as growing pains and lessons learned to stand up for yourself, they become medals of honor. Its all about perspective!
