The worst hair years of my life were “bored with my look” days. When I quit cutting my own hair just for the heck of it, and found a hairdresser who understands my hair and its quirks and cowlicks and flips, etc…. It changed my entire perspective of my hair. I hated my hair for years. The right professional can make you love your hair.

Boredom and hair related implements are a dangerous combination. My friend badly permed her hair in (I think) 2020 on a whim. She hated it. She then straightened it over and over, so it went extra brittle and crispy. She's now got a sort of fun six to eight inches of shaggy hair

I have the opposite problem. I could never find a stylist who did my hair right so I do it myself now and I always love it. That being said I should definitely see a stylist when I want to bleach my hair because I tend to do a bad job no matter how many times I’ve bleached my hair in the past.

Yeah that's what I was thinking she is really pretty. I wonder if there's something going on in her personal life that makes her want to change her hair. Oh lord, I can’t understand the mullet fever. I know to each their own, but the trauma of being a kid in the 80’s and mother gave me the mullet. I hated it so much. And it was the only haircut she would give me. ( she hated me) The best thing was when I took my own control over my hair in 8 th grade.

I used to be bored all the time with my hair, but I knew how to cut hair. I cut it so good one time, a hair salon offered me a job. I had every color, from blonde to a lavender ombré to rainbow streaks. I got a lot of compliments when it was rainbow. But now I am older, I let me hair grow out, and it’s long. All the way to my butt. It needs a trim, actually about 4 inches of dead need to be cut. But I am waiting to go to a hair salon.

People with round faces can wear short hair in the back. The issue is just about balancing the face. IMO round faces should have long side fringe in the front if they are to have short hair, or they should have a lot of height in the top. It is just about balancing the face, not disguising the shape.

Covid quarantine was probably my most bored with my hair i have ever been. I shaved my long dreadlocks off to start fresh. The big chop was actually the best thing i did( i shaved my head down to the skin by accident. I put the wrong sized guard on,lol). But now my hair is just past my shoulders and in its natural curl pattern. Of course i just coloured it again yesterday for the second time since covid 2020. Blue black is my colour of choice as i hate my chocolate brown hair. Hate the reddish/copper tones. I love cool hair tones with my warm skin. Others may love certain cuts or colours on you. But its what you like on yourself that will make you happy, radiant, confident.

That was so chaotic, but her face is beautiful and well-suited for short hair. She can rock a mullet, and I think she'd look great with a shag haircut! I think the "wolf cut" that people do in the ponytail actually would have given her the cut she wanted. What's she's going for looks like when people do the wolf cut, but unintentionally cut it too short.

I am black. And my hair is naturally very curly or coils. So, every time you say to cut wet hair, I chuckle. I uncoil and stretch my curls - like wearing rollers but in reverse. And if a stylist tried wetting it, he or she would be in for a surprise. If they wet it and just let it dry, they would see shoulder length hair shrink to a short Afro. So, not sure at what point he or she would want to cut it. 😂
