I have coloured my hair for many years. Last week I was preparing to do my roots, when I noticed the colour of the dye was not normal. I swear I could hear Hair Buddha say "If the colour of the dye is not normal, why would you put it on your hair?" I went to the pantry and got another box of colour, and threw the first colour away. Thank you, Hair Buddha! You are the voice of reason in a crazy world!❤

I retouched my roots today. I once again had hair budha playing in my head saying 'fine sections, fine sections!'. 😂 have to admit tho, my colour applications have vastly better results since subscribing subscribing to this channel Editing to add: I also now go to my hairdresser to get my fringe trimmed, because HB has also taught me that hairstylists have all the training and that why they get better results than me with a pair of random scissors!!

Trends go in about 20-25 year cycles. We all very much loved hair chunking kits and frosted tips in the late 90's, early aughts. Except I seem to recall the guys did the sticking-up bangs looking like a shelf, not curled up like hat hair.

Also I'm a barber, we were taught to apply colour/bleach with a comb! It doesn't look how it does on those videos but it does make colour look really natural. Obviously we do it on short-mid length hair so that would also make a difference.
