I'm about to show you how to remove Pulp Riot from hair, using Blank Canvas. You will be SHOOK.

Formulas:
Lightener: 30g Blondor + 45g 30 vol + Olaplex
Blank Canvas: 20g Blank Canvas + 60g 10 vol
Toner: 20g Icy + 10g Natural + 60g 6 vol

She was pretty much aquamarine and has turned Emerald 😳 I was attempting to take her from a fiery red to a butterfly blue. This will be our second attempt at this. I have purchased Guy Tangs Blue Ghost and am going to try it with this for a light Smokey blue. Wish me luck :-)

I would love to try Noir on my hair but black just scares the hell out of me hahaha! I did a strand and after 2 washes it was vivid purple :( it faded too fast even though I put dark red (also semi color) underneath. Have you tried Noir on it's own? And have you also tried Blank Canvas on it to remove?

I have! Noir is definitely the most pigmented of the semis and for that reason, is one of the more challenging ones to remove. It's possible, but may need more than one Blank Canvas application to pull fully off of the hair :)

How did you apply the toner?? Bowl and Brush or Bottle ?

I usually just mix it in a bowl and kinda dump it all over my client's head while they're in the shampoo bowl 😂

I used this last night and it didn't pull out as much as I wanted I'm sure it would have if I went over the 30 mins but didn't trust to do so. I plan to do a deep conditioning treatment tonight but wondered if you would recommend me trying it again in a day or two or should I just be happy with what it pulled? Thanks for your tips!

Of course! I would def just do another session and an Olaplex treatment if you're worried about damage =)

So I have been using dark vivids from pulp riot for the last year now. I've been absinthe, nightfall, velvet, etc. All very dark and in the purple/green/blue family. I just use blank canvas and I still have green left in my hair. The color was not that vivid since I allowed it to fade quite a bit before attempting. Wondering if I can do a second application right after the first. I did do a quick bleach wash with some clarifying shampoo but it did not do much and my hair does feel pretty fried. worried about giving myself a chemical cut!

If your green is super light, you may be able to tone it out with a pale pink! If it's a lot of green, you'll most likely need to Blank Canvas it again, but if your hair is damaged, I would wait a few weeks in between and do Olaplex treatments!

I know matrix so cult’s remover is basically bleach, is blank canvas softer on the hair? I’m platinum/white with half lilac and half blush pulp riot on top. I just don’t want to damage it, while trying to take the color out.

Blank Canvas is so gentle on the hair! Your colors sound pretty light, so I would just use 6 vol in a 1:3 ratio. It shouldn't take long to pull off :)

Hey Im from Germany i have the same problem the purlpriot colour do wash out really bad. lilac turn into grey😨.but in whole germany i can't by the blanc canvas..🤔if i wash a little bit longer with shampoo- maybe a few month- does is get alone away ?thanks for answer😊

Hi! Pulp Riot colors are made to fade. You'll see your tone change a little with each shampoo :) If you keep shampooing, you should eventually get pretty close to the color you started with

It's recommended for semis! I would remove a permanent color with lightener :)

It's recommended for semi permanents only. It may work, but the results are unpredictable

Hey, LOVE your videos and tips! How long do the toners tend to last? and what was your mixture on this video? I have someone with extra thick long hair, i have brought 3 to use, how many do you think i will need? not used it before! I also do this clients hair using the blue colours and it likes to fade out greenish, would you just add a little purple in to that mixture? Thanks :) xx

Thank you so much love, I appreciate your kind words 😍 The rose gold toner only lasts about 2 weeks, but the icy toner stays in foreverrrr! I usually mix them in a 1:2 ratio. So 20g of toner to 40g 6 vol

3 should be fine, especially if you use extra developer! And I would definitely add purple into it :) The red from the purple will cancel out green in the blue 🥰

It's a semi-permanent remover, but it will definitely lift natural hair a bit! Make sure you're only applying on the semis you want to remove if you don't want to bump any natural hair

Skylar Wingg I used a different brand, and was dumb and used way to high of a developer (30) and my hair fried, like baddddd! I totally suggest using pulp riot developer
