For whatever reason I find this shave & the accompanying haircut are two of the most pleasing to watch of Harry’s videos. I assume it must be the degree of professionalism displayed by the barber (not that any of the other barbers are unprofessional).

Very professional barber. Wish his shop was near me. Would be well worth the visit. Was he previous military? Notice the way he moves, heels click together at the end of each of his movements. The way he stands, his posture, his etiquette, his manner of proper speaking, ect. Some things are never forgotten once they are instilled, and therefore, hard to forget once they have become second nature. They turn in to daily force of habit and you generally never notice that you do such things, unless it's pointed out by others.

Hello - it's great to hear you love this channel! With the exception of three videos Mystery Woman has filmed all of the hair cut and shave experiences for this channel and you can see she typically films close to the barbers. I know it may not seem like it but there are reasons behind why we film the way we do. Each time we film things are completely different. We are always trying out different equipment and changing how we do things so there are a lot of factors to consider when making the videos. We of course make mistakes every time - lol!

No, I'm not a stylist. I happened to have stumble on your site and loved it, then checked out other sites and got hooked (hair cuts with blow torches setting hair on fire, etc - whoa!). A skilled barber is a true artist which is something I never realized before. Also, the barbers I have seen on your site and others take great care in even the little things with their clients, powdering, carefully dusting off, aftershave/tonic, better than most of the places I have been and I go to $$$ decent places. I just might have to find myself a good barber!

Your videos are amazing! From the Olde Touch to the asmr quality of them. Love it! You let us tap into a world that use for exist, and still does way out there. Thank you for finding these amazing Barber Shops and their unique and interesting owners and people. If i could rate this video, it would be 5* out of 5*! Can't quite figure out your accent tho Harry. At first I thought you were British, I apologise if I am wrong. I watch another channel on KZbin asmr barber and I spot one little difference and that is the shaving foam/cream used by American Barbers is out of a machine. In the UK they use the old brush and soap method of application. Small and probably pointless detail perhaps but I am very much enjoying your videos. Currently working my way through your collection. Thank you!

Hi Chris Cole - thanks so much for watching and commenting! There can be differences based on the health code regulations which can vary slightly across different states in the US. HairCut Harry Thank you so much for the reply! Love how.you interact with your viewers. Brian, the Barber there at The Nite Owl is one interesting character! Ex Military I'd guess. He has that quality that you just wanna ask him questions and talk.......lots (maybe that's just me) but also he has an aura that demands a bit of respect (maybe it's his height and that beard). I love to travel and this is get another quality you bring in your videos. You must be having a blast, wherever you roam. Having watched a fair few videos now, I'm guessing the accent better now lol. Keep up the amazing work and safe travels Sir! 👍👍👍

The conversation at the end (at around 22 minutes) put me in mind of something. I've seen a lot of businesses rely on the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" mantra. All too often they fall into the trap of not being able to recognize when it's stopped working; usually by that time the owners have become emotionally invested in not changing anything. I'm not saying "if its not broke, don't fix it" is a bad idea at all, because it's actually a very good business philosophy; however, a lot of businesses go under because they refuse to change when it stops working.

Your channel would explode if you posted more regular content. It would be awesome if you just posted some shaving videos a few times per month. That way it wouldn't be months between videos waiting for your hair to grow. Either way I really enjoy your work.

Thanks so much for your support and feedback - it's great to hear you enjoy the channel! We would love to post more regularly but as we are selective of the places we feature on this channel it can take a little longer to locate, schedule, and film. We are so thankful and really appreciate all of the barbers who have agreed to participate. We are currently picking up the pace of videos and including a few vlogs showing the search for some of these places ... so more videos will be on the way :-)
