Its because your scalp produces heat and the heat makes the bleach work faster and also virgin hair lightens SO much faster than colored so if you've ever colored your hair before you'll need it in the ends longer so it lightens evenly

@@sarahfitz2877 agree, upkeep is pretty easy once you know what to use and how your hair reacts. I can pretty much do my roots and change my color in under 2 hours. It only takes that long because pastel colors really need to sit for a while.

a mix of baking soda, shampoo, developer and dish soap is REALLY GOOD at taking pink/red tones out of your hair. It doesn't really work on blue tones and idk why, but it will take out warm tones in 30 mins or less.

Girl I was assistant mgr at my Sally and literally only 2 of us out of the 12 girls that worked there knew ANYTHING about color theory, lightening, toning, or color in general. I held weekly mandatory meetings to teach the BASICS so they would stop f*king up everyone's hair 😭😅 that was like, 2017 though so maybe they train different now? I hope so
