The fact that Brad is blown away because to final outcome was not what he expected, makes me suspicious of the process. He’s a professional, he’s seen a lot happen, so I don’t think these ladies achieved that outcome in their own.

I remember the first time I hit that mushy noodles stage. I had no idea what it was. Even worse, it was back in the early 90s before we could watch bleach tutorials. I also didn't want to ask anyone what it was because I wanted the junior and seniors to think that I was cool and admitting that I need help would obviously make me uncool. It was also my first buzzcut which was considered super cool by the older students.

The only good thing about having a hereditary illness that fucks up your collagen production is that my hair is so freaking elastic that it has somehow survived me going from dark brown to white. The first girls looked good bc the lilac dye just toned it to a nice cool toned medium blonde. And it’s way more moisturizing and good for your hair compared to toner with developer in it!

The first girl just kept neutralizing her hair color . I was going to attempt to type it out but it got really long. Suffice it say, the result actually makes sense if you think of it in terms of color theory. She used pale dyes so they were depositing small bits of pigment and she was effectively toning her hair with dye. Pretty cool idea there and could save some people some damage if they can figure it out for their personal cases.

Brad's videos are a HUGE part of the reason why we didn't use bleach when my daughter wanted to try purple hair. We used Punky Color semipermanent. I read a TON about how to get it to show up well on dark brunette hair. (Best advice: chelating shampoo and swimming in a chlorinated pool.) Then... we did a swatch test to make sure she liked it. Only after ALL of that did we dye her hair a beautiful fuchsia purple. She rocks it.

I'm so proud that my platinum hair is a product of Brad Mondo videos. I've watched and learned. I'm now 8 months into maintaining it all on my own.

I've tried using Arctic Fox's Girls Night a couple of times. The last time I used it, my hair was about a level 8 with barely any yellow and my results yielded a really nice non metallic cool rose gold. NEVER did my hair actually turn lilac. Aparently you need a level 10 Targaryen blond to achieve that color. On the plus side. It makes a really great toner.

Me: Ah cool she took notes. This sounds hopeful Girl doesn’t take small sections to bleach her hair. Not enough bleach. Puts bleach on roots too soon. Basically ignoring everything she took notes on. T18 was involved and never looked at a color wheel. Seems to think pastel colors will show up on darkish hair Me: I had so much hope😔 Yeah she DEFIANTLY went to a salon to fix her hair💅🍵

Idk I am a fan but I’m starting to wonder why everyone who follows his instructions always fails I mean maybe it’s not their fault but a problem with his instructions 🤔 I mean it makes more sense
@devonbananastar41703 жыл бұрын
@@LilacMorelli I’m not sure anyone actually followed his instructions in this lol. Especially the girl I’m referencing, she didn’t do most of it “correctly” but ended up with a great result anyway lol
@LilacMorelli3 жыл бұрын
@@devonbananastar4170 yeah that’s my point when people follow his instructions correctly and literally exactly what he say he tries to blame bad results on them by saying they aren’t following them right even though they are and in cases like the first video she doesn’t follow it perfectly and the whole time Brad is saying it looks bad and she’s doing it nothing like he told her to do and then WOW it turns out amazing like what??!?!

I have gotten off being an Anbiem user for 8 years by going cold turkey which sucked then I bought the melatonin gummies. What a find! Sometimes the sponsors actually are positive! 3 months and no Ambien!

The only way I know how to section my hair is horizontally. That’s what I do to blow dry, curl, straighten. It’s nice to know it would’ve came in handy but I stopped coloring 2yrs ago & I’m living my best grey life.

When I bleach my hair I start in the mid back as and then the front and the very back last as I learnt that the very back of my head is the colder part and it process slower, learning how my hair behaves has helped me bleach it perfectly, and I use a comb with a section metal thing to make small even sections, and I do one side at a time and cross them over after putting in foils.

Interesting to see that last girl wearing gloves and protecting her hands...while having no concern about the bleach falling into her eyes 😅 all of them came out way better then i thought though, i could never do this great job they did 👏👏👏

I’ve used a super pastel semi permanent hair dye to tone my hair after getting it bleached a bit ago and it worked wonders. As a natural red head it’s so hard to maintain blonde hair but that’s what worked best for me.
