You've got to do it at least once though. I was always too scared to, and then in 2018 I started doing my own trims and cut down to once a year at the hairdresser - and for the last 2 years I've done it all myself! Curly hair helps, but it's so thrilling!!

Those scissors are flat on one side to be able to put a guard on. They’re usually used for people who have sensory processing issues and cannot handle the sound/vibrations of cutters. I have them and use them on my autistic son, the guards also help because he cannot sit still long so it protects us both
