Hey Curtis, I just wanted to say thank you for all the videos. I’m 31 and have been balding since I was like 23. On Saturday I’m finally getting my first hair replacement and your videos have me the courage and knowledge to do so. I’m in the military so I know I’m going to catch a good amount of flack, but I know I’ll be much happier. I bought some products from you and thank you for helping me prep to actually do this right. Hopefully within the next few month I’ll have the courage to start doing this myself and I will definitely be buying from you. You’re the man!

I love Curtis. Just two misses here. And I'm not a know-it-all but I am a wearer since 1984, and did work under the late great Sy Sperling. Miss #1: Unlike 50% of bald men, Curtis has a lot of his own temple-area hair - so the assumption that one front hairline works for all just won't work.. For example, I have much less temple hair growth. So having the A or B shape front, to widow's peak, to a deep dive downward such that the base gives me temple coverage is critical. Ever see a wearer with no temple hair? Looks fake. Second miss involves base size. Many prefer the simplify it clips on the side and back for attachment. It is really stronger than people think, and makes changing/cleanup much faster. I dive in pools and the ocean with clips. Never had one come undone. So if you wanted clips, the base should go into the good hairline 1" deeper to allow for clips to be sewn on. Other than these two alternatives, Curtis vid here is spot-on for most.

Hey Curtis. I wanted to comment on your video again. I saw a man weave tutorial just now, the barber made it look super natural and undetectable. U make my day when u upload. I am really considering a hair system in the future. Just so I can feel great about myself again. Nobody should ever go bald if they don’t want to. Bald isn’t a bad thing, but the balding process is the worse when your hair falls out. Many movie actors wear hair systems. My neighbors told me that Steve Harvey wore a hair system during his comedy shows back in the day. They said that the glue irritated his scalp. Why do u think that it? since it took place back in 1980s to 2022 right now. Happy New Years again to u and your family. Watching and commenting on your videos make me feel great and a sense of comfort when I have low self esteem. Sorry about the long comment

Maybe his itching was caused by having the wrong bond (adhesive) for his body chemistry. Curtis says it generally takes between 2 to 5 bonds before a person finds the right one for themselves.

Hi Curtis! Good to see you back recently. What are your thoughts on people like myself who shave their head and want to try a unit? Is it a bad idea to let hair grow in after unit is already installed? After a day or two, it would still be easy to create my template so that wouldn’t be an issue. Curious how the sides would “blend”.
@HairExperience Жыл бұрын
Hey !! If you have considered it. I’d love to earn your business and help. Early on. It will lay on top of your bio hair until that grows out enough to blend
