Curtis, I am 73 years old, and I do not have any gray. I like my hair long on the sides and combed back. I do have a pony tail. I don't want a lot of density like had as a young man. But I would love to try a hair system. I have a little gray in my beard. I live in Waco Texas and have no idea where to go to get one of these systems. to get started. Is there anyone out there that knows of a good hair system place to start with in Central Texas?

Hey man, I'm considering getting a hair system and am having a hard time pin pointing which one would work best for me. I'm 19 and I haven't had a full head of hair since 7th grade. If I were to get a system, I would wanna wear it up and expose my hairline. My biggest problem though is that I'm a professional bodybuilder, I workout 9 times a week. Being in the gym that often, I sweat waterfalls. Based on your video I feel like the swiss would be best for me, but I'd appreciate your professional opinion. Thanks!

I know you talk a ton about sweat and itch factors. I have watch other videos that different spray like "NoSweat" or anti itch sprays. Have you tried any of those products?
@HairExperience4 жыл бұрын
I personally have tried no sweat a few times. It did its job like a antiperspirant would. I prefer a scalp protector myself. Not saying its a bad product, just preference. Ive never tried the anti itch sprays because ive never had an itch issue. Typically if there is a major itch problem, its a product that the skin doesn't like. Like a mild allergy
@MrNeisonpromise4 жыл бұрын
I think our scalp or any other part of the skin is meant to sweat as it's a natural process of body mechanism. Blocking it is not going to be good. We are blocking the sabacius glands in other words. So. Let the scalp breath, vent or sweat, all we need to do is after it sweated, go get it dry under a fan or in an air conditioned room after a quick shower without head wash instead a surrounding area cool wash. Body tends to cool down and the sweat will evaporate leaving you again another fresh feeling.

So on that 0.5 poly, I think it would be nice to have that as optional to have those holes in their for breathability. I've had units like that with the holes and it definitely makes a difference when using tape application on Perimeter. Another option is just to take an "AWL" and put the holes in yourself.. Either way, breathability is a must I feel..
@HairExperience4 жыл бұрын
Bart. I was actually working on doing that before the pandemic crap happened. It makes total sense. Ive seen it done on others units Also keep in mind a full bond would not be an option like this.

So I've always had my hair long,I still do. I'm 52 years old and have advanced hair loss but still have hair on the top of my head. Basically I have my hair like its still the 1980's,pretty long. Its where you can see it looking pretty thin but my hair completely covers my ears and is about 3 inches past a shirt collar. The hair covering my ears is not thick but no super thin either,its about in between,the same with the back of my hair also. Thats my current length but many times I do let it go so long that it touches the back of my shoulder blades,so pretty long I guess. Would it be a mistake to order a unit to go with hair this long,would it all look good or out of place? By that I mean does the hair on the unit fall into place and match the hair over my ears ok? Or do it look very odd and look "fake" to someone noticing my hair? By that I mean would the hair on the unit look much thicker on my head than the hair over my ears and not look right? My hairstyle I have always gone with is I part my hair to the side,never come it back. Just part it and let it fall where it wants to. So I have no desire to comb the hair back so to speak,just part and let it fall to the side. Would the French kit be the one to go with for me? Is that unit good for parting your hair and letting it fall over your forehead? Thats the look I'd like to have. I know you mentioned something about a brace or extra support to keep the base of the unit more stable and secure since you would have longer pair pulling on it. Thanks.

@HairExperience4 жыл бұрын
I understand. It normally the products being used on the hair. Its not the gray (typically) I wear a 20% gray unit and do not have any issues. Typically I deep condition my hair once a week. I think this is key
@brubaker11014 жыл бұрын
@@HairExperience but in one of your uploads,you said you use conditioner daily though
@thelonewigmaker73234 жыл бұрын
You gotta keep the hair conditioned every day with a good color-safe conditioner. There are no cuticles on factory hair, which in nature seals in moisture to the hair shaft. Without them, the moisture will escape quickly. Comb in a small spot of argan oil with your conditioner. Silicone can help with the appearance of moist hair. Many conditioners contain a little (Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane are the most common). There's a product on Amazon called "Silicone Mix" that may help in dire circumstances.
@Marie-kj3xf4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I agree. My system gets like straw in a week or two, it’s lace, so argon oil is not recommended. But even leave in conditioning does not help much. I also have 40% gray, which is synthetic...but seems to get dry very quickly. I’m going to try a 20% gray next time...and see what happens. I’m also having a terrible time having anyone cutting in my unit in Virginia...no salon is daring enough to try, and studios will only work on their own units. Wish my man could offer a cut service...however...One thing is for sure, Curtis is always there if you have a problem...best customer service out there!

Great summary mate! One question though. Does tape stick better on french lace or poly? I play sports a lot, and am hesitating because french lace is better for sweating but I've the feeling that poly sticks better with tape. Is that correct?
@HairExperience4 жыл бұрын
Hey, thank you !! Yes and no. Tape sticks great to lace if the products used on the hair system does not compromise it. The poly gives the tape a barrier from outside stuff like oils and products we put on the hair.

I use tape on lace , tape on poly will be a mess at hairline area. If you do sports a lace unit is better and if you need to take off tape is easier to clean.
