Thanks for watching! My passion for self-employment came off a little rude in today's video. It's not for everyone and it's ok to work for others if that's what you choose. 😊

Awesome content as always! Suggestions: 1. Since you're on the road to 500k(or just higher than Home improvement ch) and you get recognized a lot, have you thought of giving stickers or some? Small gestures can help spread word of mouth more and at the same time make the viewers feel more appreciated. 2. Can you or someone make a video out of your what not auction? I feel a lot of people would like to watch that as well, especially those who cant watch the live or doesnt have whatnot(even if its free). I know you guys are busy, i just wanted to put the suggestion out there. Keep up the awesome and non toxic content!

You were giving good advice either way. That kid had an entrepreneurial spirit & for people like that thinking they have to work for someone else their whole lives feels like prison. There are a couple of married resellers that the husband follows the wife around and takes whatever she's looking at right out of her hands to look at themselves. The amount of time they waste and opportunities they miss while desperately trying to control their wives is ridiculous. You, Josh, have nothing to apologize for. Your love and respect for each other shines bright in every video. People should mind their own business.

Being a card seller that’s a phrase I love to hear, How much for all of them I might take less but to have them sold in one shot I’d a beautiful thing. I thought 1 dollar for 10 cards was still overpriced glad you passed on it. Also awesome gesture to give the person selling the lemonade extra money, it will keep him motivated and you will be remembered as a person who helped him along the way.
@Killerabbet2 жыл бұрын
1 dollar for 10 cards is a outstanding deal when you get to pick through what you want to grab. Just grab all the full arts, holos, reverse holos, and if you have the knowledge base cards that hold increased value due to competitive viability. That being said, all those cards were very modern releases and the only two full arts I spotted were promos. While there was still plenty of value there at $1 for 10 Josh in no way missed out walking away from them.

Bulk is about $6 for 1000 cards when sorted out like that. I'd have given $10 for the lot and that would have just upset the person, so best to pass and move along. Thats the type of person who thinks that they have $1,000 in cards but really its about 6 bucks.

Pokemon cards can be pretty tricky to price out if you aren't extremely into the market. My rule of thumb though is: Commons/Uncommons (No holo, flat surface with no glare)- 3-8 cents each. You can get more selling on TCGPlayer, but it's a hassle pricing all of them. Best bet is selling them in packs of 100, for 3-5$. Reverse Holos (Holo on the part of the art without the character artwork)- Sells from anywhere from 25 cents to 75 cents, with the few outliers going for more. Regular Holos (Holo only on the character art of the card.)- Like the reverse holo cards, these typically only sell for 25 cents to 85 cents, with some rare outliers. Ultra rares- (Full holo without texture and typcially has a black border all around with a Pokemon taking up the majority of the card)- Anywhere from 1-5 dollars with some famous cards like Charizard or other hyped up Pokemon going for more, depending on the sets. Other Ultra Rares include the trainer cards, which has typically just a character like the ones people play or fight in the games, and those are similar in going for 3-10 dollars, and some go for much more depending again, on the set and the character. Theres more types like Full arts which are like Ultra holo cards, but with a texture on them, and less detail. Again, it depends heavily on which Pokemon card it is, and how difficult the pull rate is. Theres others now too like Alternate arts and Vmax's which are some of your really hard hitters, and go for a good price, but much more difficult to pull. In all honesty, unless you're really interesting in the hobby, it's difficult to invest in especially when it's applied to buying cards at a garage/estate sale. Condition, rarity, and the characters all play heavily into the prices, and it's probably just not worth bothering with unless you're invested solely in a trading card market. So, yeah, you might find a rare gem here and there, it'll often just be someone else's bulk that can be overpriced because they don't bother with prices either. Still, loved seeing the Tag team Eevee and Snorlax tin.
