what genre is this kind of music? artcore? math rock? it's freaking awesome!
@kohimame2 жыл бұрын
It's honestly hard to categorize Haisuinonasa's music. The closest genre would be Math Rock, but even then that doesn't do their pieces much justice. You should see Yoshimasa Terui's works. He composed songs for Haisuinonasa, sora tob sakana, siraph, and other musicians with (almost) a similar tune to this one. I've yet to find bands that have the same sound and feel as Haisuinonasa, though. They're on a different level. EDIT: There's a playlist on Spotify called 「照井順政 Works」, you guys should check it out!

@@kohimame indeed I agree with you, their sound is unique and I haven't found any similar sounding band ever I got to know this band from Houseki no Kuni's op, it's such a beautiful gem

@@sterduzt34 they didn't do houseki no kuni op tho. What are you referring to?
@sterduzt342 жыл бұрын
@@MrYjgh Yoshimasa Terui, this band composer, is the composer for that show's opening which was sung by YURiKA.

It's a combination of the Japanese phrase 背水の陣 Haisui no jin which means 'last stand' and NASA (space ships and all that). Yes, it doesn't make much sense and it's not supposed to.

The composer for JJK s2 was a member of this band! Not sure if you already knew this, but that's why this music seems to compliment that season's soundtrack so well!
