I just discovered Toe because of the show SonnyBoy, and my goodness gracious their music is beyond anything I’ve ever heard . I’m not sure if it’s just me but I always find this melancholic, this hint of sadness, that I simply love so much. It makes me feel so emotional, perfect to listen on passing lonely days.

I discovered Sonny Boy because of Toe lol. But yeah their music is on another level, especially this song. Toe is my second favorite band, but this song is my favorite song of all time. I think Toe and Sonny Boy is a perfect match, because both of them is giving you a story/music that's melancholic but it's motivates you at the same time. This song is simply beautiful.

This song was the tune I went back to for every sensation/emotion I had when I was between 17 and 23 y.o., and I mean literally every strong sensation. It seemed to carry them all, and to amplify them accordingly to the moment. Absolutely stunning, as the rest of the EP. Drums always got me as a freeing experience, no matter what. I still have goosebumps remembering when I listened it live in Bolzano at Transart festival. I was in the first line, and I singed it on the top of my lungs. That day was my birthday too. Crazy concert. Glad this video is officially reposted.

I had a friend of mine recently pass away... toe was one of our mutual favorite bands, who inspired each of us to play in our own math rock bands and jam together in our jazz band practices. I considered myself a big fan, but he was a HUGE fan, and also into Japanese culture and language. We were lucky enough to be able to hear them together in concert in one of their tours, and I remember him singing this entire song together with them when they played it live. I was so lucky to have experienced life with him and am thankful for this band to bring us closer together. Rest In Peace Edgar Aldana 💛💛

Hi. Im from russia, and once, like 12 years ago i heard this song, and decide that it is my favorite song forever. I heard 7min lenght version. I was like 14 y.o, and nothing change since that moment, its still my fav. It playes in my random playlist from time to time, and i have kinda tradition. Everytime i hear this song i take a break for 7 minutes and let it take me away. Im trying to remember when i heard this song for last time, what im done since this moment, where am i now on my path, and what i want to do before the moment i finally hear this song again. Its like checkpoint for me, it bring me peace in dark times, and help me to see the way. Just want to say thank u guys, dont know if u reading. I am a musician now, not great, not terrible, and all i hope now, that someday i would be able to make something as beautiful like this song. For somebody who need it as much, as i needed "Goodbye" 12 years ago. Sorry for awful engl btw.

This song hits so hard. You can feel the pure souls of each musician during the final big breakdown, they're pouring out their entire selves into auditory form
dear toe, it’s currently 0449 hours where I live, and I would like to put forth my appreciation and gratitude towards you all for creating a song that has touched a part of my soul that remained unhealed. this song takes me down the memory lane every time I listen to it. all those years, all those moments, all those things, all those places, all those people that I unconsciously stored in the niches of my memory surface back and engulf me. it’s overwhelming as hell and never fails to make me cry. all the while making me realise that these were the parts of me that never healed and how all of that- all of those years are gone in the blink of an eye. I left those places, things and people. and they are never coming back. stored away and only parts of my memories. the worst of it all is how this particular song is a lullaby to my almost adult child self. caressing me. engulfing me in a distant yet warm embrace and telling me that I still have parts of my inner child that are not healed- also managing to helping me heal. thank you for that. thank you for creating something that has grown to have so much meaning to me. thank you for creating something that has been helping me heal. and it’s only been a day since I stumbled upon your song. I shall never forget all the things that this song has made me feel.

I'm so glad this was reuploaded and came up on my feed. New Sentimentality and For Long Tomorrow had so, so many plays on my ipod in 2009-2011. I can't remember where I came across them but so much of toe's music resonated at the time. Their music just got me through so much. My tastes in music changed and I stopped listening to them, it's probably been 8-10 years since. Probably 5 since I had completely forgotten about them. I see this on my feed again, listen to this and I look back, I feel like I've done so much and so little at the same time. So many people have come and gone, some forever. Now I'm hearing this again at what feels like another right time in my life. And it's hitting all the right spots.

@@filipgaier4908 thank you. I'm sorry I read this late. I've also made a comment on a different upload of the song. I've had a rough time, but this song makes me feel at peace during difficult times. I've been working on tapping into my creative side, scripting out graphic novel/manga ideas about characters just like me. This song makes my mind clear and pure. returning to this song when I need it, and I need it now more than ever. My father found out he has cancer, and just like everything else in my life, this song has helped me forget. I wish there were a way for the band to know how grateful I am. I have a deep connection to the media I consume, like manga for example. I dream about meeting Rei Hiroe, Hiroya Oku, and the band in Japan so I can collaborate with them. Rei or Oku could work on a draft with my illustrations, fine-tuning, pacing, and expanding on aspects I struggle with.
