Ariel Henry did'nt enjoy the support of the population, but he enjoyed the support of the United States. do we notice something here. The US is the common denominator in all conflicts, major and minor.

As a sovereign U.N member carricom should not be picking Haiti's leader or government. This is against the UN charter on sovereignty. This is what is throwing fuel in the fire and stoking flames. Foreign actors picking who should lead a transition is a violation of sovereignty. Stay out of Haiti affair it will only get worse for you.

Al Jazeera, why not report on the 12 thousand (12K) ONGs operating in the country? One of those is merely getting 100 million in aid. Why are there so many and why the money is not reaching the government. Something corrupt going on. Caos is a big profit for those ONGs.

The first question unanswered in this report is where the guns come from...I do not accept the premise, a poor nation like Haiti can afford to buy the weapons and ammunition no doubt with a US brand name on them? Second question unanswered in this report why the popularly elected president was assassinated and why elections have been postponed for ten years going forward? Third question is why this secretary of state appears on the scene only after a crisis has erupted and never is he on the trail visiting nations in trouble first and more stable nations second working to cement better relations with the US? This report leaves me with more questions than answers about how gangs became more powerful than the elites who employed them. The docks at Port-Au-Prince are owned by Haiti’s elite business class so what were the arrangements made with this class to permit receiving cashes of guns through Port?

What a coward! This is why he was run out of Haiti. I don’t agree with what is happening nor do I agree with how the gang leader BBQ is handling things. But Haiti needs to be autonomous with no intervention from US or Canada or France. But I’ll say this, America and those countries will send people to take BBQ out so they can implement their puppet. I’m stand with the Haitian people and the rest of the world should also.

With 🇫🇷 France having experience leading peacekeeping operations in the 🇨🇫 Central African Republic and 🇨🇮 Cote'd Ivoire, experience in counter-insurgency operations in 🇲🇱 Mali and 🇦🇫 Afghanistan, and France of course being a French speaking nation, it may be more fitting to have France lead the 🇭🇹 Haiti.

Also The gang boss was kick out the force for corruption and didn't decide to make an honest living in haiti he formed a gang and with whatever knowledge he had when leaving and connections he was able to make he was able to beef up his gang. They did say where the 7 voting and 2 non voting members were to come from in haiti this lady seems to be willing to negotiate with the gang boss i will say this again the gang boss in only in it for himself others gang leaders are politically connected you don't negotiate with them for a renewed haiti. This lady seems to affable to and buying into the propaganda or part of the propaganda machine of the gang boss. 1000 police officers can't cover much ground in haiti they would be spread too if they can help protect keep infrastructure and the ports of entry that would definitely help the haitian police. Also the gang boss most likely has forced young boys into the gangs for his reasons.
