This weapon does not come from the Dominican Republic. In our country, no weapon is produced. You should say from the United States, Canada, Colombia, and drug trafficking and the Haitian government. The Haitian politicians took that weapon to their territory. You always want to blame the Dominican Republic for their situation that chaos is the result of you as a society. look for solutions stop blaming everyone except yourselves.

Haiti should not and cannot depend on the international community to help them out of this grip of the gangs. The solution has to come from within Haiti. Somebody has to get a back one and come up with a rigorous way to eradicate their country from the gang. Phillipines and El Salvador are fighting this problem, and confronting it right now. Haiti can also do the same.

it's amazing you can look at 2 countries Haiti and the Dominican Republic on the same island, it's clear that corruption and rule of law can be seen via satellite images. this is the same with north and south Korea. these comparisons can plainly be seen, its due to governance then to where they are located and the resources they have.

Dominican Republic as a country more like a dominion of the US of A, but not Haiti. So the need for the CIA to mess in the countries politics. When a state fails, the people must take the power back and earn their freedom again. It is so important to support the rights of the people and limit the ability of the government to concentrate power without oversight, because earning freedom has a cost that can only be paid in blood. They will have to cleanse and reform the government and pay the cost to eliminate the gangs and gain their freedom again. I wish them the best and hope they get the international support they will need.

It is very sad to see the direction Haiti is heading to, the whole thing is lack of leadership as a result of high-level corruption. The problem in Haiti is dated as far back as Colonia era and the neglect of the USA which is a close-door country. The problem in Haiti is not for Haitians alone! The country needs urgent and genuine support from friendly countries. We are concerned because Haiti is African country in diaspora. African Union must voice out for urgent assistance for Haiti. We are all Haitians!

First of all,I'm haitian and I'm very very sorrowful by what my country is going through,So,i wanna also get your attention by asking those questions... Where do all these guns come from? Does Haiti make guns? And Where do the gangsters find money to buy all these kind of guns while they come from different disenfranchised parts of the country? No,Haiti doesn't make guns therefore,Let's answer the questions without makeup,All these guns come from UNITED STATES,And the most of haitian's politicians who provide guns to the gans are always supported by USA,FRANCE and CANADA,That prove that they all complicit in the grip of lawlessness that HAITI is going through In summary,I state that USA,FRANCE and CANADA have to let the Haitian people choose his own leader to govern in the interest of the Haitian people, not in their interest.

Idolatry in effect leads people to worship things, like idols and icons. So people deaden their spiritual sense and become materialistic automatically. This brings about money worship and the love of money is the root of all evil. All the evils that befall fallen states are rooted in the wanton pursuit of money, even by so-called church leaders and public servants. Coz of this idol worship of money, human life has less value than money-so people can be killed for money and all else can be justified for the sake of money. No more value for spiritual things, like faith in the Creator and fear of the Almighty, coz they are not seen or as real and gratifying immediately as money is or other idols are. Idolatry,in all its forms and subtle definitions , is the root cause of the moral and spiritual crises in Haiti and all other catholic nations-from which metaphysical crises arise all the other curses that bewail and befall these abominable nations. Read Deuteronomy 28

Why doesn't the US. or the UN. step in and help the innocent people of Haiti? They are in need of help as much as the Ukrainians. The UN is all words and no action: they are as useless as the League Of Nations proved to be. The US. doesn't care about a country with no oil. I'm ashamed to be an American. While I am a Canadian, I am still a North American, and am not much different from my US. cousins. Canadians are no better than the US. with regard to humanitarian issues.
