Thank you Nigel , wonderful job , quite moving like you previous comment, born in roses dale in 1962 , unfortunately moved to East Anglia when I was thirteen. That is where my dad's family are from, we get chances to go and visit my wife's family in Burnley , I often drive through water foot to revisit our old house on Burnley road east . It was demolished some time ago , and is now a car park, opposite the old Hirst shoe company . Thank you so much for the memories . Craig in Felixstowe , Suffolk

@@craiglawrence2322 many thanks for your reply Craig. Small world isn't it? Sorry to hear that you and Sharon don't speak so much but like you say "that's life". Anyways using the info you gave me I looked up her Facebook profile and recognised her instantly. Amazing after 38 years or so. Just for your info.. I knew her from Waterfoot junior school and maybe the first year of us attending Fearns secondary school. My late dad Harry Hawke was a teacher there. Hope all is well for you down there in Felixstowe. Stay safe.

Thanks again NIgel. Very evocative and stirring great memories. Any chance we could have one dedicated to Newchurch? Then my cup would surely overfloweth. :)
