I used to perform hajj long time ago with my grandfather.The weather was not too bad,accomodation & transportation was all well in Saudi.There was even medical facilities available.I left Islam now but I do not want to complain about the condition of Mecca;honestly it was all well.I am shocked to hear its 52 degree now.Prayers for the departed soul,condolence to the family….

I am waiting for some tech savvy Muslim entrepreneur to offer a "virtual Hajj" which will allow pilgrims to participate via a Zoom connection hosted by a grand mufti. It wouldn't be hard to do and you could still obtain the ZamZam Well water through Amazon, have a proxy in Mecca "stone the devil" for me, and virtually touch the Black Stone - much more hygienic, safer and cheaper! Yes, the Saudi government would lose a lot of money but it's time to live in the 21st century NOT the Middle Ages where pilgrims are fleeced by the unscrupulous and/or die via disease and trampling.
