Wow. Don't know anything about Rugby outside of Football comparisons but I love these Haka videos. RIP Sean; crazy to think how soon he passed after this video. I may not be a rugby fan but I express my sympathies to the fans and family.

I've just seen an Aussie documentary about reintroducing Aboriginal dance into the Aussie Rugby league. Each year the indigenous NRL players play the kiwi Maoris. Up until 1967 the kangaroos did an Aboriginal dance but with limited indigenous representatives it fell out of favour. They also showed a Haka of the time and the ABs also had very few Maori reps. It was a bit hopeless. Obviously putting 2 and 2 together meant maori reps improved this performance when more of them got a guernsey. I don't think the Wallabies would ever be permitted to perform this dance and with the number of kiwis in the Wallaby team the Haka would mean more to them anyway, but with the kangaroos who are undisputed kings of the RL world the indigenous dance would be awesome. If anyone want to see this documentary it's called araatika and it is inspiring. I'm sure most kiwis would love to see their Aussie brothers in RL reintroduce this display.

I love it when the MAB mix-up their haka - but this, this was a real treat. I know the meaning to the usual Timatanga lyrics, but this had a LOT of additional phrasing. I'll pay for a translation.
