Rosey was bang on when it comes to Mitch in Colorado 😂. Love the show, boys.

Do you remember me? Rosie? I used to work security in the parking lot. Said, hi to you everyday.

Glad to see you guys back.. Leafs Figest was eating your lunch.. Leafs back on the ice in a week. Should Mattjews come out with a statement? "Cup or bust"?
@SirDangalotАй бұрын
Hey guys, great channel and great episode as always. This comment is a little off topic, but every single time I see the intro and Rosie brushing his hair back after his on-ice scuffle, I think he could suit up today and help the Leafs. Rosie, hit the gym and go for a PTO with the Leafs. They need you!

The Leafs finally have some size and grit on defense, which is much needed, to go deep into the playoffs! Trade Lili and Timmons, and sign Gio to a minimum contract for 1year as a 7th d-man? Gio could be a player injury replacement, short term? GO LEAFS GO!!!!

As long as he stays healthy... this is a great signing! Im curious if the plan is to LTIR him until the playoffs or have him as the 7th D. If he's going to be a regular Top-6 d-man... then Benoit or Liljegren is the 7th D-man. Which means Timmins or Liljegren is getting traded. Also... if they sign Pacioretty and/or move Cowan up to the main roster... they need to trade 1 or 2 forwards. The Leafs aren't done making moves yet that's for sure.

Matt Murray plays a big role this year. Book it.

If Marner put on 25 to 30 pounds of muscle, he'd be a bigger factor in the playoffs. Size does help with taking and dishing out punishment. More size would help with overall resilience as well.
@Sir_GodzАй бұрын
one pounds of balls would accomplish so much more
@chevelle1Ай бұрын
That won’t do much. There’s smaller players that are willing to play playoff hockey. Mitch just isn’t. It’s painful, it’s hard, it requires imposing your will on opponents, making the safe plays, etc.

Hey Nick( Mr moving parts), how do you know that Max P will be great if healthy when his last decent year was five years ago ? I haven't heard you say your favorite phrase .."The definition of Insanity" so far this season. Great show guys.

The main driver behind the Leafs' fan base wanting Marner to move on is from wanting to see the end of the top heavy cap structure. For the 2025-26 season the Leafs have the opportunity to completely leave the current cap allocation blunder in the rear view mirror but I fear they will not do so. My concern is that they extend all 3 of Mitch Marner. Jake McCabe and John Tavares to cap hits they justify as fair market value. Think about the approximately $24M coming off the books when their 3 contracts expire and what might happen? Marner signs for $12.5M, McCabe signs for $5Mish and Tavares signs for $6M. So .much for the cap windfall Of course no one can predict how this will all unfold but the scenario I just described is at least very possible.

No your not but anywhere around 14 million is just to insane, he’s worth what Willie got, prefer less but that’s not gonna happen
@hemantishwaran5741Ай бұрын
No most fans like Marner. The ones who post online are a different cohort and tend to mimic what they see online so it seems like “everyone “ hates him. But his contract is too big for what he delivers in clutch moments

Given his game in the playoffs I'd keep him if he wanted around 8-9M, but nowhere near the 12M+ he wants.

I do not care if Treliving finds the Japanese Conor Mcdavid. Having 5.4 million wrapped up in Lilly and Kampf is horrendous on every level, cap management, product on the ice. what the actual f^^^^ Everyone says yeah but Kamf is a great PK guy. The leafs had an awful Pk, so I really dont get it!

Bc Leafs have the top doctors and physio team so it's good for the players rehab......and leafs can take bigger risks than a Nashville or Winnipeg.
