I appreciate you getting in front of a camera to make an actual video about this cool car. Hard to tell exactly how green the car actually is with the press release photos so far. I do wish they used the same paint color as the last Hakone. This one looks much flatter in comparison but still might be cool in person. We'll see...

The lease on my Camry TRD is up at the end of next year. I was just on Toyotas website to spec a GR86 and saw there was no 2025 available... guess I'm getting myself a Hakone

I’m new to buying cars at dealerships. I really want this to be my first car so I called a dealership and gave a deposit. I hope I get it! Does anyone know how hard it was to get the trueno edition?

I hope it's the farewell edition to the Toyota and Subaru joint adventure on the 86. With the Celica and MR2 in the horizon, it's time to leave the "boxer" alone...

Doubt it, but the boxer is part of why this car handles so well. I have one, just a regular one, the engine sets silly low in this car and allows the car to be far lower than most other cars. Friend of mine is a vette guy, he sat in my 86 and couldn’t believe how low it sets. Would I prefer an engine that doesn’t blow up on right turns? Yes. But I also recognize it’s part of the cars appeal.

do not use your 1 year membership to the race track, it will void your warrnaty. This was not for the2025 so maybe it changed but I would not risk it.

Lol, hundreds are using on it on track and are fine, Toyota has made it clear, if one doesn't cause failure (ex money shift) then track driving won't affect warranty.
