You cannot hugin protect skill drain, you can't use the protection effect if it's negated

They were talking about lightning storm. Skill drain would still be facedown, and therefore huginn would protect. No reason to flip skill drain on tenpai on empty board

The ROTA is good if you play the rabbit in the extra deck. Since he's an illusion, once he's on the field you can search with the ROTA. But I can see it's not necessary in the runick deck to play 3. Also, instead of cerberus, IP Masquerena ? only 2 non link monster so you can use the nib token. Good profile ! Thanks Qi !

can you protect skill drain with hugen? if hugen doesnt remove itself from the field for cost, it will still be negated under skill drain and therefore cant use its protection effect.

i tried out mannequin cat since you can summon silvy when astellar gets veilered. It’s a cool tech but changes deck building quite a bit and I ended up cutting it for other stuff and bumped astellar down

Silvy negates itself on summon effect Huginn can protect a facedown skill drain, which it would be, because why would you flip it up before seeing if your opponent can lightning storm it.
