I remember seeing him in a number of movies and TV shows especially when he was working with his wife Dixie Carter on Designing Women and he was in one episode of Creep Show putting up with his shrew of a wife played by Adrienne Barbeau. He was a very good and talented actor he will be missed Rest In Peace.
