I went their last year for Iftar and unfortunately it was a terrible experience, half of the food you mentioned was not available, from the food we did have it was very bland. maybe they have just been recently introduced more items, maybe they have different menu in ramadan. Im sure we will give it another go in the future when its not Ramadan . But surely good buffets should be consistent regardless of how busy they are.

My brother got married here a few years ago and I still remember the aloo palak they served at the wedding - it was outstanding and I'd say it's one of the best dishes I've ever had anywhere. I don't remember much else tbf so it couldn't have been that good. I'll definitely give the buffet a try when I'm back in Manchester inshaa Allah.

This in my opinion is the best buffet in the UK! I’ve been here so many times, and it’s always consistent, the food and service is amazing and I think it’s priced very well too! Can’t really knock it to be honest!

Al Maidah is really good. Lovely food and good value. Usually just go for starters & desserts! Lol. Plus Yes they do weddings etc upstairs too! 😊✌👍

Went to Al Maidah after watching this video review. Sorry to say, it is a very average tasting buffet. The starters were decent, but main course dishes/salans were extremely bland/beswadi. Although I'm not a huge fan of Nawabs either, it is still a couple of levels higher in quality and taste than Al Maidah. Maybe explains why Nawabs charge around £28 per head and Al Maidah charge around £22 per head. I dont think there are any high class Pakistani buffet restaurant in the UK yet, but if you must go, pay a little bit extra and go to Nawabs instead

You just get stuck into the food straightaway, you didn't give the important details like exact location and how to get there , most of us probably don't know where it is if we are not from Manchester. You hardly ever tell us what the price is and you didn't film the surroundings and layout.
