I go to yoga class at least twice a week for last six years .. one of the instructor showed me exactly to do halasana for the beginners.. at home I didn’t do stretching before the halasna which caused me very small shoulder pain. My instructor told you have to do Asanas before halasana.. today I wanted to make sure which asanas I should do .. I came across this video . Very clear instructions.. I was able to do halasana with out causing any injury . Thank you for the video 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I am a yoga practicenor like you for past 10 yrs - I can say you should all asans of forward , & backward bending & sarvanga asana before attempting halasana - but you should take care of back pain or other pains etc., before attempting it and you should slowly do step by step and month after month for final pose

it is best method by explaining the prepartory pose on Halasana - I did Halasana easily at age of 55 - now at 61 not able to touch the toe to ground - week a day missing the asana - backborn became stiff slightly - try the above - my favourite asana - sure I will achieve it in short time - Pachimothasana too - but able to do easily Chakrasana, sarvangasana etc. at 61

Hi Miley, Halasana does help in reducing stomach but if you are focused on burning fat, I would suggest a a longer dynamic practice of vinyasa yoga or power yoga. I do have some of these on the channel.

If i do alternate days in a week, how long does it take to touch the ground? Sadly once i mastered and i played in this posture. Many years back. Today i would have to ask this question

Srinidhi, everyone's body and journey is different. So it's difficult to comment on that :). But with regular practice I have seem the most amazing transformation in a lot of people. So give yourself a few weeks. Enjoy the journey!

Depends on age - daily practice is must - otherwise back will be stiff -to go slow- for flexbility -take fruits more less other food few days and check - reduce toxins & try
