Haley Southwick, DNP Reflections Message of Hope

Haley Southwick, DNP shares how her training experience at Bateman Horne Center has had an "incredible lifelong impact on her future career as a medical provider."

Bateman Horne Center's (BHC) mission, we train upcoming and current medical professionals and researchers to help be a product of change in the medical and scientific fields. Haley Southwick, DNP recently completed a 330-hour training rotation at Bateman Horne Center for her doctorate of nursing program at the University of Utah College of Nursing. While she is speaking of her experience with BHC clinic patients, her message and experience are directed to all patients who do and don't have knowledgeable providers.
Following graduation this May, Haley plans to move to Florida to be with her fiance and find work in a medical clinic.
BHC is partnering with Open Medicine Foundation to educate medical professionals about complex chronic diseases that affect multiple systems.
