Thanks. Was considering picking this up for the fact that it can be switched from slick to regular kit Wich is exactly what I’m looking for. Any recommendations that are better than this and still affordable?

Well... if you watched the section of the video titled "The AC1 Heresy"... ;) You could also do something similar with a molle-backed Slickster, although not as ideal if you watch the appropriate section on that video, per rear plate bag velcro issues with fullsize cummerbunds. Not sure I'd say either are "better" from a qualitative pov (they're all about the same), but functionally... Defense Mechanisms is also a very solid choice. I am currently awaiting another Beez Aptum to see what their sewing issues are up to in 2024, but if they can ever get their shit together, the Aptum would be THE one... *sigh*
