I had the same complaint about the claw. it looks awkward almost like a forced print. I tried to message Safariland to purchase a normal belt clip to keep the oem look and no one got back to me. unfortunate their customer support is lacking.

Thanks for the video. I am looking at purchasing one for my g43x however I was looking at changing out the clips to ulti clips, but I see one cannot do this? Can you please make a video of how well you can conceal it with a tucked shirt ?

I don't usually appendix carry with a tucked in shirt, but I will give it a go and post it. As far as the ulti clips, I'm not 100% certain, but I think that they are probably not compatible because one of the clips is incorporated into the claw. Again, this isn't certain, but logical assumption.

What are your thoughts on the alliance clips and setups they have that mount in the inside of your belt? Any experience with those? Also, how much was the safariland holster on black friday?

So I’m a huge fan of T1C but haven’t bought their holster since I got the Icarus grip, been eyeing the incogX, would you recommend the incog or t1c???

So I personally went back to the T1C and my cousin is now using my Incog X. I don't think the Incog X is a bad holster, but the T1C fits me better personally. Note that I do use a Streamlight TLR7A.

@ that’s the same light that I use, always been scared of it not fitting due to the thumb ledges. Thanks dude! Going back to the axis elite

@solidgroundpodcast24 just to be 100% clear, the icarus module with the Streamlight TLR-7A fits well in the tier 1 axis elite, but I don't get a super positive "click". I've had no issues with retention either tight nor loose, but I didn't want you to be frustrated if you're expecting that Click noise every time you reholster. I also never took a heat gun to it to try to get that last 1% for a perfect fit. I've used the axis elite for quite some time now and think it's working great. Hope that makes it clear as mud lol, but didn't want you frustrated just in case

That's a good question. I honestly haven't tried it without the mag caddy. I specifically wanted a holster setup with a mag caddy as it does feel a little more balanced across the waist. That being said, IF I did want to carry a solo gun, I'd probably go back to my Triad Holster.

I’m in between the tier1 and safari land my self. Looking to use it for a m18 with a tlr1, which would you recommend between the two.

I personally went back to the Tier 1 Concealed for my 365 XL. I haven't used either T1C nor Safariland for IWB.

I was watching a video of a gentleman discussing this holster. He stated it required a twist in order to remove the firearm. Is this accurate? Just watching you and as well you stating it is a friction hold makes me think he was utilizing it incorrectly.

I am unaware of any need to "twist" anything. Mine was a straight friction hold. And I had no issues with retention.

It is an Icarus Precision Slide. Unfortunately they are not being produced right now due to blank slide availability and they take up machine time from grip modules being made

I just got mine for gen 5 g19. Im 6’1” 215lbs. Im not fat but I don’t have washboard abs either. Compared to my T1C axis elite, this is awful. It’s not adjustable enough, rides too high, cants forward, and is just too thick in general. I won’t lose faith in Safariland because they are far and away the best at what they do. This just isn’t what they do. I’ll probably never even use it. It’s that much worse than my T1C.

Sorry you had that experience. That was one of the complaints that i brought up to Safariland at SHOT Show was the lack of adjustability. I guess we're fortunate in the US though that there are so many holster manufacturers. I found my Incog x thinner than the T1c, but maybe I have a different variant. But I do find the incog much wider. Fortunately it's been working well for me, but as usual I'll always be keeping an eye out for "better" . Stay safe my friend and thanks for watching!

Yeah it’s no hard feelings. Still love safariland. The thickness of material though, is double that of my axis elite. Honestly I’ve been trying to find one better for about 5 years. I just can’t. It’s the best on the market.
