The machining on these is so sad. For that price you think you wouldn’t see the milling marks, the not straight lines, the janky curves.

I just hope that the 6mm ARC coming out first doesn't hamper the success of this cartridge. I am super excited to build a 6mm Max gun.

Trijicon refuses to put “shake away” on their SRO. With the 507 you don’t need to remove the sight in order to swap out the battery, big plus They need to get with the times 507 comp comes in green

I put a 507comp on my prodigy. It lasted a month. Now I am waiting for a warranty. I am 9 days in. Tracking showed it delivered on day 7. Holosun says they will confirm they got it with an email. When you get the confirmation email they say 20 to 30 days to process. If you add another week to ship it back to me it could be 6 or more weeks. Im 9 days in waiting for them to just confirm they got it. A $400 optic and they wont just send a new one. They will try to fix it first. I have 8 Holosun red dots. If i wait 6 weeks for a warranty claim I wont be buying another Holosun. If they fix it and send it back and it fails again Ill smash it with a hammer and send it back with a dog turd in the box.

I had an SRO for one of my staccato's and i ended up swapping it out for the Holosun. I get looked at crazy by my friends for it, but the Holosun feels more durable and i'm more confident with it using it for concealed carry over the SRO.

Like in any industry some companies live off of their name. Eotech, Surefire, Aimpoint, and Trijicon. They no longer innovate they are the cool name to have and can live off of it. My opinion they have been surpassed in quality and features on some of their products. They are still quality products but in my opinion have been surpassed in many areas. For instance - the RMR. Figure out how not to have a bottom loaded battery. I would never buy an RMR for that reason alone. Then add in price, and featureless design. Holosun has attacked the market with affordable, durable, feature rich optics for the past several years.
@TheTGRproductionsАй бұрын
I've said it before, and I'll say it again; This is what the Military should adopt to replace 5.56! Only a simple barrel swap and different magazines, compared to every other intermediate cartridge that requires you to switch out the Bolt and so on!

Do you offer Recon modelfor ruger p89 ?
@jeffmurphy9987Ай бұрын
I’m an old guy and remember when every manufacturer made aluminum frame guns. Everyone wanted lighter polymer frames so the manufacturers did it. Now we’re buying polymer high capacity small lightweight concealed carry guns and spending another grand turning them into heavy large competition handguns like a Smith 6909 or Ruger P 89. I don’t get it. Just my opinion there’s a plethora of older guns similar in weight with much better triggers.
@SPG1TacticalАй бұрын
@jeffmurphy9987 I definitely don't disagree with you. I would make the contention that the polymer frames are easier to make and therefore brings the price of many guns down. Then if you want to upgrade the firearm you can do it a piece at a time and truly customize it to what you want. I guess it depends on your wants, needs and perspective. I like tinkering, upgrading and playing with my guns. Thanks for watching!

I’m in the market for a “full size/duty” pistol. I’m torn between this and the 365 fuse. But I think I’m leaning towards echelon due to the optic mounting system

@3of11Ай бұрын
Holosun needs to do a 6moa only 507 comp. I make do with the 2+8 moa for now but its slightly ghetto. Thankfully they do a 6moa EPS/EPS carry... basically THE choice for CCW. So why not the optic literally sold with "comp" in the name? "Comp"etition shooters nearly universally prefer a 5-6moa dot.

@SPG1TacticalАй бұрын
So I personally went back to the T1C and my cousin is now using my Incog X. I don't think the Incog X is a bad holster, but the T1C fits me better personally. Note that I do use a Streamlight TLR7A.

@ that’s the same light that I use, always been scared of it not fitting due to the thumb ledges. Thanks dude! Going back to the axis elite
@SPG1TacticalАй бұрын
@solidgroundpodcast24 just to be 100% clear, the icarus module with the Streamlight TLR-7A fits well in the tier 1 axis elite, but I don't get a super positive "click". I've had no issues with retention either tight nor loose, but I didn't want you to be frustrated if you're expecting that Click noise every time you reholster. I also never took a heat gun to it to try to get that last 1% for a perfect fit. I've used the axis elite for quite some time now and think it's working great. Hope that makes it clear as mud lol, but didn't want you frustrated just in case
@solidground-24Ай бұрын
@@SPG1Tactical not too concerned about the click, as long as I have enough retention that I know it won’t fall out is good for me. Thanks man!

Appendix carrier is so gay, find it kind of weird that that's the way every single KZbinr pushes concealed carry. 4 and 5 o'clock on the way to go
@CitizenCarrier24 күн бұрын
I find it really weird that you describe something like carrying a gun in any way someone sees fit as “gay”. I’ve found whenever guys like you throw that word around so easily, it’s like you’re trying so hard to sound tough when clearly you’re just scared and not confident because of your lack of knowledge and skill. Or you just may be a little closeted yourself. My guess would be both. No one is “pushing” anything on you. You sound really sensitive. I would have loved to see you call my grandfather “gay” who used to carry what they called “Mexican carry” with his revolver long before you or social media was ever thought of. Shows how little you know about the carry of firearms and the history of carry that you think it!s something new on KZbin. 😂🤣 You’ll grow up someday junior. 🤣

How do you find a holster for the weapon light combo? Do you have to have one made for it?
@SPG1Tactical2 ай бұрын
@andyhampton5768 if you're using a common/popular light, most holster manufacturers make Holsters that are compatible. Tier 1, havoc Holsters, superstition concealment, tacrig, priority 1, etc all make quality Holsters with light bearing options. Hope that helps and thanks for watching

Dude great job on this video. Literally all the info I was looking for plus some all neatly wrapped and well delivered without a bunch of unneeded or just semi relevant stuff. I am curious about how many rounds you can throw in it before needing to remove em and re melt this size and density of a single mold but if nobody knows and can answer, then I’ll just have fun finding out for myself once I get the tools/supplies I don’t already have to make it. Well, that plus the time to actually make it. Thanks again for such a great video!!!
