Being lukewarm is a condition of the heart towards God. If you want to find God and recover from the condition of your heart being lukewarm, you must get into the word of God. (The Bible ) with a heart posture of strictly longing or wanting to know who God is. This must be your only intention, Then you will find God and grow into a deeper intimate relationship with God. Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled” / Deuteronomy 4:29-31 "But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul".

Hello, my name is tania, if I had the gift with words, I could say something that could console your hurt, but I don’t have such words. I am a mother of six, praise the Lord they are all alive, but, my parents lost five sons. This is a true story we were told by Bishop Filoret, who went on to become Metropolitan Filoret of the Orthodox Church abroad. In early Russia, a man was traveling, evening found him in a village he knew no one. He stopped at a house. Because there was no light, he thought he would not knock on the door but rest in the wagon close by. He fell asleep quickly, but was woken up by words and a very brilliant light from the porch of the house. When his eyes were adjusted to the light, he realised they were two Angels of God. One was Angel of life and the other an Angel of death. They were discussing the child that was just born, as to at what age this new born will die. The Angel of death insisted that he should die now, but the Angel of life said now, let him live. After a few minutes they agreed that he will die at the age of 21. My dear friend in Christ, it seems that we are born with a time of our death. Please forgive me if I have spoken out of turn and upset you. tania.

Your Father does not commit evil. That is blasphemy. I'm sorry you're hurt, but death isn't the end at all. Not even close. Christ saved everyone. You, your daughter, etc. Nothing you do will ever nullify that gift, nor will anything you do make you deserving of that gift. But THAT is the good news. That you are loved by a Father that has never and will never commit evil and that has saved you and your daughter from an eternity of sin.
@thehulk76295 ай бұрын
I am so so sorry for your loss. I could not imagine how deeply sad and in despair you are and I would be too. I don’t think it’s idolatry. It’s love and that is the love Our Father has for us. I will be praying for you and God’s guidance in your life. I hope you find His divine joy and love and peace. 🙏☦️

It seems like every time I see a video from Fr. Spyridon, it’s exactly what I need to hear. God’s providence has a at work in this, despite what my own unbelief tries to deny. I’ve noticed that one of the things I’ve struggled to sacrifice to God is my cynicism. I have a cynical heart that often struggles to accept the magnitude of human existence, and that it is no mere accident or coincidence. That, as a man, I am living in the greatest story ever told, and it’s God’s story. That I am participating in something magnificent beyond my comprehension, and that failure to participate in it brings horror beyond comprehension. Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner.

I have been half hearted for a long time, struggling, yes, but nonetheless half hearted. Over drinking, sexual immorality, fits for rage, cursing, and definitely Not Loving My Neighbor. The other night, The Lord allowed me to experience a terrible vision. I steered face to face with a real demon. He looked wholly dedicated to evil. He had a human face and miniature goats ears. We had eye contact. I saw his expression. It was cold as ice. When I awakened I understood that I had been in the presence of a real demon and this was obviously as a result of my half heartedness towards our Merciful Father in Heaven. I have understood clearly now that by daily drinking alcohol I have been flirting with the devil, flirting with death and damnation. The Lord knew I needed this shock to shake me out of my half heartedness. We all get what we ask for. May our daily actions not ask for death and damnation. Let us run to the Loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ and worship Him with daily obedience lest our hearts be extinguished and our souls die. We need to be the new creatures that He created us to be, filled with His Love and walking with Him.

You are to take care of your family sir, God wants you to watch over them if they are relying on you at all. Check out these NEW TESTAMENT Scriptures. II Corinthians 12:14, II Thessalonians 3: 8- 12,. Keep reading the Scriptures for answers and guidance from THE LORD.

Christ already saved you, as He did everyone. If even the devil hinself isn't saved then Christ died in vain. Nothing you do has ANY effect on your salvation. Living a righteous life doesn't mean giving up comforts or things that you like. In part, it means not being subject to those desires, especially to the point where you stumble in your relationship with you Father...

@@googleplaynow9608 "If even the devil himself isn't saved then Christ died in vain." I hope you're intention is just to lift this man's heart up because Devil CANNOT be saved for he willfully rebel with full knowledge of what will happen with Humanity. It's like saying a murderer is not a murderer because he is a nice person. Also, the Devil cannot be save because he is not a human, he is a fallen angel. There is no way of repentance for an angel.

Thank you, Father! I had gotten to a point where I did not have peace of mind because of lust, so I prayed fervently to the Lord and after much struggle and many failures, I was freed by His grace. I thought letting go of it was a sacrifice, but now I realize it was more like a rescue. It is only now that I am free that I can truly make it a sacrifice to the Lord by abstaining from it in all manners, even those I see as not harmful to my flesh.

I struggle finding faith, I feel I believe but some part of me always fights so hard to sin and revert back to disbelief. I dont know what to do really.

When thinking about lust, pray right away, don’t even think about it or procrastinate on lust, just bow in prayer right away

I don’t know if this will help, but in confession I once told a priest that I so often fail when fighting impure thoughts. He replied, “You don’t fight impure thoughts. You replace them.”

May the pain of the world be taken from us in the loving arms of our father, in the glory of his son and the sacrifice he made for us and in the name of the holy spirit that compels us to do the good works of the almighty. Pray for us, ora pro nobis, magnificat anima mea dominum, in nomine patris, et fili, et spiritus sancte, amen.

I am half-hearted😢 I came back to my faith less than a year ago, and i have so much to go. I ask and pray to let go of all those things that are not needed for my salvation. I want to love God and be his servant 100%.

I’m a half hearted Christian. God will tell/ask me “let’s read the Bible”, “let’s talk” and more. But I say to myself I’m playing a game or something else. To be honest I feel ashamed sometimes. God please forgive me, a sinner.

I haven't even been half-hearted lately--maybe quarter hearted at best. Just adrift, lost in sin, floating like a jellyfish without conviction, humbleness, forgiveness or love in my heart for Christ. (It's the norm in today's world.) I'm turning towards Christ again no matter the difficulty. Lately I have been seeking validation from others although I tell myself otherwise, I have been deceiving myself. All I need is God's commands by re-cultivating my relationship with Christ--that is all. I don't need others validations. I just need to re-cultivate my relationship with Christ. Amen. All glory to Christ and His followers.
