I always say that 97 till about early 2005 was the last era of simplicity. Entertainment was great all around from music to sports to movies and TV (Take me back to those sweet Xbox/PS2 days). Plus tech was good enough without being too invasive, It was a great time to be alive.

Social media or tech didn't overtake commercials. They are mostly insurance, prescription and attorney commercials.

Respectfully, I think this is nostalgia talking. Technology and the internet were prominent forces back then, like AIM, Napster, and of course the web. MySpace was about to come out.

@bonchbonch it's only half nostalgia because even tho we had those things we werent OBSESSED with them and needed them to be part of our daily lives like twitter or instagram. These sites were used sparingly by most. If you ask me it should of stopped at AIM.

The early 2000's was some of my favorite years, despite what happened on 9/11. 2001 is, in my opinion, the best year in gaming for the entire decade and many PlayStation 2 games released that are still held in high acclaim, all these years later. Also, Xbox and GameCube launched in November and Windows XP, which, is still my favorite OS of all-time.

These aired on Thursday, October 25th, 2001. I was about a month into my sophomore year of high school. The 9/11 attacks had just happened. Despite that, life seemed so much simpler then. I can still remember all my best friends and all our regular hang out spots. I was probably on another channel watching WWE Smackdown while these were airing.

2001. What a year to be 1 year old. This year saw the birth of my favorite Taco Bell television commercials. It also saw the birth of my favorite Burger King television commercials. And yes, 2001 has lots of good Boston Market television commercials.
