In case anyone's wondering about the corner strat and why it may(or may not) work: The scourge mobs are already 'placed' as far as where they'll spawn when the map is made. Same as normal packs. You're just going to an overlay when you use the crucible to shift. It works(or doesn't) because Path of Exile doesn't like putting packs in corners. So you have less sides to get murderlated from.

When you shift into Scourge on a "new" screen on which you didn't shift before there are 1-2 new packs spawned tho, you can check it easy yourself on any map with go-in arena boss, shift into scourge before arena, go in, there is no mobs, shift out, kill boss normally, shift into scourge inside boss arena - new packs are spawned

Fyi, regarding the corner strat, the game doesn't spawn the scourge when you shift,they're already there,you're shifting to them.i think it's just reliable to be near walls because a large pack usually will spawn farther away from walls,not right next to them

Did you know you could put a stack of fragments into the map device so you don't need to select just 1 of each. It takes one and stays on the characters maps device
