although on the surface - if you conclude that the guy (ZhangCheng) only fallen for his caretaker (Yuxi) because she looks like his late fiancée I think there’s a beautiful underlying message there. ZhangCheng is blind so there’s no real reason to value the beauty or resemblance Yuxi has... and although he gotten along of Yati and her personality is so much alike to his late fiancée - he wouldn’t grow to move on and past his late lover if he were to stay with her Yuxi on the other hand pushed ZhangCheng to step out of his sorrow and learn to love again. And that’s what ZhangCheng needs.
