Often yeah, every other game there will be cases where your walls just don't wanna place, even though it shows you they should. Especially up against tree lines.

Odin has access to Forsette which gives safeguard. makes buildings cost half gold. Loki also has Forsette but Odin is a safer boom because of Great Hunt and faster gathering. thats my thoughts at least.

Think Thor would boom better tbh. The weakness is running out of gold and he can hold dwarven mine. Loki probably the worst out of all 12 gods to boom with lol

Hey, I have a question. Since some days I can't pre-queue techs of the next age, like their panels are just black or turn black(empty). For example if I play greeks and build a granary, I only see husbandry as the only tech and plow, handaxe and pickaxe are not even visible. Only when I reach Classic Age their tech symbols pop up. Same goes with the heroes. I only see Iason and Hercules's train symbol appears the moment I reach Age2. Someone knows why and how I can change that?

Okay after closer inspection, for those asking the same thing: each kill gives him 1 favor since he's norse, which he needs to get the safeguard upgrade to discount gold cost on his buildings.. Genuis!!

@@Senorpoontang the timing of the favor-costing upgrade was more valuable to him than the additional food later. If you can do it conveniently with only huntables instead of herdables, that's more optimal, but he used both.

Odin playing Zerg now. I'm a feverish supporter of Heimdall booms. Can even wall spam here- it cuts the cost of walls too, walls are still a building that have a gold cost. It adds up, AND the walls are stronger. At the end of the game about the Hill For tthing; my advice is just to not ever build Huskarls- Garbage unit.
