Small Poseidon buff idea: allow him to build mobile fishing drop off points, similar to a boat ox cart. This would improve his efficiency for deep sea fishing.

That's a cool idea, and thematically sound. Drop off points that are cheaper, cannot train units or research upgrades, cannot be garrisoned in, and are weaker.

You can drop the lure! On the shore... but would be cool if you could drop it on the sea as well.

This game mode is way too much fun to watch. It would be so cool if there was a second "phase" in this mode like when all remaining players hit Mythic that the Regent can no longer be garrisoned, or had their location revealed or something similar to incentivise some movement as players are learning to cheese just hiding the Regent which given the size of the maps is kinda easy lol

Late game it's good to spam the 'select all army' hotkey and attack-move to the fight, your units kept on running by armies that were attacking them because you rallied your troops forward.

I think the moment your opponent used the mass recall on their main tc, you should have just gone right back into the passage and pull out as a trade and started the push through with those units

There should be some timing mechanism that forces kings ro have to move every few minutes and garrison in a different type of building or unit

You can host your own FFA just in a custom lobby. There's an FFA selection in game settings and Regicide in game mode.
