I think you need to pull the tank off and clean it again, has to be some small particles of trash in it Dan! Seems like when you get on an incline and it’s sucking more fuel! It’s starving because when you were climbing up the hill in the snow it was acting up then on the incline! Maybe you can find another carburetor also! I think you should hook up an attachment to her and keep her under a load for a while and see how that goes Dan!

Hey my friend Lube the Swab in the points with some oil or a grease , Not only does it lesson the drag emitting retardation of the spark to start , As a old school mechanic , Another thing to check is Swab the Oil bowl of the Air canister If it seems choked or hard starting black smoke when starting it`s lacking air , Had a W4 INTn. told me this story , But if has gas and spark Gonna run , If backfiring and has fuel it`s Spark or timing , If Retarded timing it`s lack of spark Dragging ignition slow distrubitor . ----- Second start Not enough Gas Venturi problem .
