At some point and I don’t know how soon, Apple will have to update the hardware and the software to make the Apple TV compatible to support the new AI capabilities that were announced for Siri. Hopefully they are working on a Siri AI capable model, therefore it may be advisable to wait. Knowing Apple, I don’t know if I can wait until they release the newer AI version of Apple TV so I may have to buy this version, excellent setup demonstration and video, very informative and interesting

I don’t think they need to. They already have more than enough power in this system. All they need to do is drop in iOS AI update and you’ll be fine. You understand that the system is future proof.

@@MatthewMat993The review states that this version of Apple TV is using the A15 chip which is not compatible with the announced Apple Intelligence features, and newly announced Siri capabilities. Even some of the IPhone 15 models will not be compatible. I’m not sure where you get your information but it is impossible to future proof devices as technology frequently changes and I’m sure that is true for the Apple TV device reviewed in this video, other Apple devices will have to be upgraded in software and hardware i.e., the Apple Watch, as well as home pods etc.

Great info about the Apple tv 4k. I do have a question about using the Telus tv+ app with an Apple tv. I’m new to Telus tv and was wondering how easy it was using an Apple tv versus a tv box. Is there a way with siri or the Apple tv to select a channel from the tv+ app by saying the channel number or you always need to scroll trough all the channels. With a tv box your remote can input the channel directly.

I have multiple Apple TVs in my home but haven’t used any of them for smart home controls. I was wondering if I get this latest version with the 128gig of ram, would it run my smart home devices better than my Alexa devices or my Samsung Smart Things hub? I am really considering moving away from the Amazon Echo eco system and just live in the Apple eco system now that they are coming out with Apple Intelligence and an improved Siri. I would then get some HomePods/HomePod minis where I need them and use an iPad with a HomePod mini for the kitchen where I have an Echo Show. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks for the informative video.

Not all devices are HomeKit compatible so you may still need your echos. Some bridges can help but depends on your devices

Love mine! Super fast and responsive. The only negative I have encountered so far is the Apple RWD/FWD scrubbing feature which is standardized across all apps. It feels slow and clunky. Native Netflix is far superior, but you have to use the Apple version.

Good day... Would you be willing to do some tests for me? (if you don't already have the equipment or at least access to the service through a friend, don't bother - I do not mean to cause you to spend money to provide the data for me) I would like to see how the units are with 21:9 monitors - especially in cases where(like the KZbin trailer for The Exorcism)21:9 content is improperly rendered in 16:9(the 21:9 video is 'trapped' inside a 16:9 window - if the Apple 4Ks have a crop\zoom feature to combat it, & how said crop\zoom works in detail)... I would also like to know weather or not GForceNow Video Game Streaming is usable with the units, & what the highest framerate that will pass through them is... For your consideration - Thanks...

You can’t download Xbox game pass or GeForce now with the Apple TV you have to have like an Amazon fire TV stick or a fire TV cube or a Nvidia shield or a Samsung TV 👍

It depends. If you have a entry level TV then it would make more sense if you go firestick or chromecast. If you have a proper TV setup with a decent TV and proper speakers/soundbar then yes it can be.
