This was my first Nancy Drew game! Family friends would come over and play with us (we still quote Nancy Drew to each other). I remember getting stuck for WEEKS because we didn’t turn and explore a room completely- I got so annoyed that all they wanted to do was play when they came over LOL but after we solved it we became obsessed and would head over to Target whenever a new one came out :) Thanks for the nostalgia/ laughs, Joe!

This is my absolute favorite Nancy Drew game. There’s something about the aesthetic and being snowed in that’s so comforting/nostalgic. Also Hotchkiss is the favorite crazy auntie and we love her for it 😭

Ok character prediction let’s go!!! In Person: Professor Hotchkiss: Joe will LOVE this character. Maybe will dress up as her as a sub count achievement goal. Dexter Egan: Joe will semi-hate this character but grow to at least empathize with him and buy him a shot. Will also complain underneath his breath about just HOW many chores he asks Nancy to do while she’s a LITERAL guest at this hotel. Jacque Brunia: Will like, then dislike, L O A T H, then suddenly LOVE again and proceed to be gay besties with. Probably will help him kill his fiancé in a DBD setting. Lisa: Will immediately drag her for dated look and continue to be passive aggressive towards the ENTIRE game because Joe is an ✨AqQuArIuS✨. Phone: The Hotel Owner: Will call her maybe once, hate the interaction, and never do so again. Bess and George: Call them when he’s in desperate need of a hint because he’s confused once again on what to do (very easy to do so in this game). Will complain that their hints make NO sense and never call them again. Or he might get bored enough to call because he wants to move the plot forward. Ned: Ned….is Ned. Joe would rather be calling The Hardy Boys and planning a threesome. The Police: Still not available. Probably off committing war crimes.

I'm so excited! I just started playing this game two days ago. Got immediately stuck because I didn't get why Hotchkiss wouldn't take her ding dang boots!! I felt validated seeing Joe also walked away holding the boots. I'm glad he had chat to help! I walked around that castle for who knows how long, exhausted all dialogue options, changed the time, knocked on her door over and over... Finally gave up and used a guide because I thought it was a glitch!

Lol the same thing happened to me trying to find Nancy’s room when I was a kid! I eventually ended up assuming you couldn’t go back in and got hopelessly stuck until I eventually restarted. I felt dumb later realizing you had to click a specific spot but this was one of the first ones I played. It’s a top 5 game for me now but man it was frustrating ~20 years ago lol

This was the first Nancy Drew (and only one) I played! I'm glad you're playing this one. I remember on my first playthrough I was scared of progressing because I thought Hotchkiss was scary. I remember crying to my mom about it haha

I LOVED this game as a kid! I remember my mom helped me solve a bunch of the puzzelles 😅 She likes to watch your vods with me so I will have to tell her you're playing this one ❤ The environments in this one are amazing, and there's sooo many places to explore compared to many of the later games.
