I am a Gramblinite who comes from a family of Jacksonians. I grew up on The Boom. They’ve got way too much going for them to stoop to picking on bands. This was not my favorite J-Sette routine, at all. The Orchesis were better. And I say that knowing the J-Settes bring it. Not this time though. Next week, Jackson will add the Frankie Beverly tribute to their show. It’s a thieving band, but we love them. Grambling takes the field show. J-State rocks the stands. Musically, The Boom wins both.

@@Ausar_Maat I remember the time I said worse as announcer and a SWAC school almost got us (Grambling) sanctioned. I speak from experience and, hopefully, wisdom. Jackson’s program is SO good they don’t need to do that to get house. In that position, you represent the university’s best. It’s more than a show. They are ambassadors.
