@JaxRhapsody Yeah, and it probably was twice the displacement of, say, a Jeep 4.0L inline-six for less power! Engine tech has come a long way. A WWII-era flatfender Willys jeep had less than 60hp from a 139ci four-banger. My moms VOLVO has an inline-5 that rates 208hp! But it's all about the gearing. A Sherman tank only had like 400hp, or less. A large-ish modern farm tractor is usually no more than 100hp. Gear it low, and you can pull a lot with little power...you just go very slowly! =)

@pfleeger2010 A number of them did. Mostly American models and some earlier design's but it was more common for them not to. German models did not nor did Citroen Kegrese. one of the main reasons is figuring out the front and rear axle ratio's because they are vastly different.

But it didn't pull it like it was a cliff face either. For a half century old piece of equipment, it ain't half bad.

That's a nice fuckin' semi man! Crazy it was really stuck on that. I guess I can see how; grass is the slipperiest shit when it's wet. Good thing they just happened to have a halftrack sitting around! LOL. Whatever happened to halftracks, anyway? I'd like to see a halftrack Humvee; that would be badass. What kind of engine does that thing have? They still used gas in WWII, right? A big ol' gas-guzzler V8? Or a straight-6? I once saw an old hook+ladder with a HUGE gasoline inline-6 in it.

@justforever96 Dude They have a inline 6 that is barelly close to 180hp. THey only wiegh around 17k lbs, awesome huh? I forgot what their tow rating is but you can see it's pretty high. Damn I want a halftrack, I need ta buy one or build one.

Why does there always have to be someone smoking a cig and walking around right in the path of DANGER where a broken shackle or sling could decapitate you instantly???? Why do they have to walk around right between the vehicles as if they are there controlling the situation and in charge? They are just in the way. They just wanna watch and be seen. And sometimes they get hurt. Get the HELL out of the way of the damn sling!!!

I don't think the semi was stuck. I just think he didn't want to get it a little muddy trying to get out. It would be a big pain in the butt to have to clean inside those finders.

Edward Cabaniss This doesn't look like a smartphone though. It looks like an older camcorder. That, or a very cheap phone. Most smartphone cameras are much better than this.
