I usually bump into it on accident. So I just plan my food storage without it. But then, some show off with a glint in his eye and a prepared area, finds it in 15 minutes. His only saving grace, he lets us in on his thought process. Yea, I'm keeping an eye on you!

Found my first salt dome off of a very poor and some hunchs. I am a prospecting God.

@@Shino_Gaming was originally going to give up and restart a new world but i ended up blocking myself around water to drown and respawn. i didnt plan it properly

always ALWAYS bring a rope ladder, its an ez deploy ez dismantle kinda thing, it will help you in, help you out and you can take it all back and forget about it

For some reason in all my worlds this update I've been running into Halite so much, and spawning ontop of it all the time

You've been living a good life apparently. Anytime I have large amounts of salt I go crazy on storing veg and meat.

you have meteoric iron tools, is there a reason you don't have a lantern in your offhand? it'd be good for having light available for us youtube watchers.

Reason I don't was probably due to food. Items in the offhand increases your hunger rate and on a server where food stores can spoil quickly that extra increase can be a major issue. However, you make a good point about viewability for the audience. That is something I can fix. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

@@Shino_Gaming I was thinking it increased hunger....for me....hunger is at best...a minor extra chore. I'd like to say I play on a 4 man server but...usually it's just me...but...early summer of third year....I've got so much food production it's crazy. like 20 fruit trees, 20 or so pigs, at least 16 beehives, 16 pumpkin patches. [5x5 plot each], I bet I have like close to 200 berry bushes. that i mostly just use for compost...and...of course something like 300 blocks of terra preta that I'm harvesting. bout the ONLY thing I don't have set up is a big fat greenhouse...but I don't know that 5c difference is gonna make much impact, when i can fill trunks with grain that last for years...I tells ya though, Pie is the best food for running around. stacks to 32, feeds about as much as a bowl full of food, and and stays fresh for about 8 days in the pocket. best of all, if you take about as much as you expect to need for a trip...you don't hve to take a bowl and crock back with you or feel bad about leaving them behind. long winded response, but eh.

@@TizonaAmanthia about right. The main server area is in perpetual winter it seems. My area is nearly always too hot to grow. Peanuts, soybeans, berries, fruit and eggs became my food of choice. Not sure why but we all noticed higher than expected rot rates. I finally just started keeping food in my bags because they wouldn't rot as fast.

@@Shino_Gaming interesting. my main base is still well into the temperate regions, and...for some silly reason, my friends decided a mountain top was the go to place. so i guess our foodstores are good to go. That said...grains. rice flour lasts in our large vessel in our cellar for like...12 YEARS. it's easy to pull some flour out, convert it to dough, make pies, eat out of hand with what's available. too bad you can't make a mushroom pie....but i bet pigs are easy to have around...meat pies are super filling.

If you mean the propick reading chunk view you will need the Prospector Info Mod. For the chunk borders, go into your chat window and type ".debug wireframe chunk" then hit enter. Repeat to remove
