There aren't many songs in the world better than Out Of Touch.

I love John Oates's voice on Possession Obsession. He definitely has a soulful, interesting voice. It takes a big person to be willing to say, "You know what? Clearly this is the way the wind is blowing, and Daryl has a great voice. Go with it." I always got the impression he was a good guy.

To this day, "Out of Touch" is still my all time favourite song. I do hope they are able to work their shit out, because if this lawsuit culminates in a permanent split I don't know HOW I'm going to decide which of them to go live with. ♥

Both have great voices but John was smart enough to realize Daryl’s voice was more commercially viable. And as a result, they are both very successful and wealthy. Both top notch musicians and both equally talented. Great duo.

For me its really hard to tell who's voice I like the most. Both are so unique and distinct, but latey I've been leaning towards John

Me too my favorite band as a kid. I think this breakup is the hardest on us the fans kind of like when parents get divorced it's hardest on the kids or the pets.

Never thought Daryl was "conceited" or "arrogant" as the music press (Rolling Stone rag-mag et al) perpetually have portrayed him. Rather, he is a somewhat shy but incredibly talented introverted musical genius. Totally different personality from John, whose persona is definitely the extrovert, though brilliant as well. Two extremely talented people...

John Oates is gorgeous and down to earth. Daryls all conceited and full of himself. Together they balance each other. The talent is equal.

Daryl though has considerably calmed down over the past few years and has grown more down to earth (probably because of John’s influence) and listening to a podcast with an interview with him, he’s actually quite shy and reserved.

@@flannerymonaghan-morris7461,Darryl has always been shy and reserved. People mistook his introvert personality for stanndoffishness and/or arrogance. He liked performing, but hated making videos because he felt controlled.
